Been absent for a few days, but I've maintained my quest for an item each day. I decluttered some paint from a tin to the walls by painting the hall stairs and landing. Plenty of garage junk to the bin, and I'm starting to build a pile for recycling and the tip whenever they re-open. I tackled the hallway drawers and managed to bin 3/4s of the contents. Mrs SJ is now on work from home 3 days, and is staffing the depot on 2 days for deliveries and such, so I'll keep subtly mentioning her wardrobe and DD's! In the first week of home schooling a few toys have been broken, so they've gone.I have also got my eye on the last 2 kitchen cupboards to attack.

Saturday was another sunny day but definitely colder 🥶 with a biting wind. I was up in time to pay the milkman & we had a nice chat (at a safe distance 🙂) DH spent time in the garage tidying up - he needs to create space to park up the motorbike that cannot be MOTed 🙁. He came in after an hour - just way too cold ☹️ DSis stayed in her room.
I finished knitting scarf no.33 - needles put away for a few days. The hm soup was cooked, zizzed & taste tested - mostly vegetable based with a slightly lamb taste. Finally made & cooked the crumble 😆 Made enough crumble topping for 2 lots to be bagged & frozen.
Dinner was from the freezer - hm cottage pie & the last of the green beans. Delicious 🤤Sunday has been an overcast day - only a few spots of rain but oh so very cold 🥶 DH & DSis have spent most of the day upstairs - Office & bedroom respectively. I have watched TV, sorted some more paperwork, played AB2 😉 However my task for the day was to clean the fridge & list the contents together with use by/BBE dates - Done & dusted & absolutely nothing binned 🥳 Lunch was toasted giant crumpets for DH & I with toast & cheese for DSis. Dinner was from freezer - breadcrumbed fish, oven chips & garden peas- delicious 🤤
651 - 657 Newspaper, cardboard box, Uu bike cleaner - large plastic container, 30 page booklet, glass jar & metal lid, plastic pot, large bag of recycling from DH - Recycled

Now for cheerleading 😊
Good work villagelife 👏 almost 600 👏Well done EnergyShifter 👏 I can see lots of planning lists in your future 😉 A lovely number 250 👏 so I am awarding you a Gold Star ⭐️That did make me smile 😃 greenbee. My pleasure Rootle 🙂
I think most of us are doing the same thing stellata - day to day rubbish & recycling but you can do without ‘inconsiderate’ (forum rules prevent me from using certain words 😉) neighbours 😠 Re the Covid19 news - I am recording the daily update & then just watching the bits to keep me updated & fast forwarding through the repeat sections. I am with you that the OS Forum is far more supportive & friendly than other forums. We can vent, ask for or offer advice, cheer each other on & just be here for each other.Wow Nicnak you have been busy 👏 at this rate you will hit 2000 by the 1st week in April 👏 You never know DD might let more bits go in the future but I do so admire the fact that you let her make some decisions for herself - a mummy star 💫 for you 🙂
Great work TC77 👏 If something involves a lot of work you should definitely count twice 😉 Well done on your self isolation but do be careful when you go out on Tuesday 🙂 Very pleased that you can work from home 🙂
Sounds like a recipe for disaster ailz95 😱 Thanks for the info re ebooks 😊
Unfortunately I will have to love you & leave you as my charge is down to 9% 😱 😱
See you laterMrsSD

Wow Gem-gem you have been busy 👏 I am so impressed with your organisation on growing your own food 👏 & being generous enough to give some to neighbours.
Good work short_bird 👏 Hope the batch cooking went well 🤞 Sorry about the chicken ☹️
Oh dear elsien 🙁 Such a shame & no suggestions from me 🙁 Good ideas from serendipity2796 & greent & newlywed. Hope you recycled the bottles 😆 DH & I only ever brought back weird drinks for ourselves - tasted them, discovered we didn’t like them, the bottles sat in the drinks cupboard for years or even decades, then emptied down drain, bottles rinsed & recycled. Proud to say we were never mean enough to give them to our friends or family 😉. Ooh, southern comfort - I’ll see you later 😂
Less slothful than me Happy Kitties 😉 - I am restricting myself to one task per day 🤣
Absolutely brilliant decluttering idea newlywed 👏 I imagine you are also saving money by restricting your shopping trips 🙂
Excellent work leelad - really chuffed for you that the attic clearing has been so successful & serendipitous 🙂 As you have done so well I am sending you a Gold Star ⭐️ I have every faith that you will create a plan that will help you through these troubled times. Is your daughter still assisting with the decluttering? We all have different coping mechanisms and I have to say that in spite of the current situation, you are sounding more upbeat. You should be very proud of your decluttering successes 👏
Good work tboo 👏 and 😇
Excellent work shangaijimmy 👏 I am sure the kitchen cupboards are quaking 🤣
I am happy now that I have caught up & I am off to bed - yes I know it is 6:00 a.m. 😞
Keep safe everyone.

I can't seem to break the habit of waking up early for work and i'd so love a lie in! Am feeling a bit more positive today as my supermarket order arrived yesterday so I have good stocks of food now. Lots of things out of stock but still plenty and there's only me and doggy. Today I'm going to do some decluttering into a box in the spare room in the hope I can move it on out before too long, I haven't been out so I don't know if charity shop and tip are open but not a priority for me now even if it was allowed.Magnolia Stellata11

I think I last posted around 2 or 3 March. Not much decluttering done as OH and I made a decision that I needed to use my limited energy to produce healthy meals for us both. I am now taking a few days off from this in order to catch up with my own admin and housework as I've not had energy to do this alongside the cooking. Also, we shared our vegbox with a rellie this week so there's not actually much to cook - OH has frozen meals to warm up and I'm using up what veg there is left in stir fries. I also plan to make some lentil soup and some sweet potato brownies in the next few days to pop in the freezer.
A few things have gone since I last posted:-
2 papers recycled
6 food items uu
60 old emails deleted
I need to have a quick add up as to how much I need to get rid of each day to make the target for the year.
