Hope everyone is well.I am currently on Furlough, although DH is still at work, as he's classed as a "key worker". Had to visit the docs to get some paperwork for DH, but they are only open for an hour, so incorporated this into my daily walk with DD1.Am ploughing my way through GOT as well, on Series 5, Ep 2.Still a bit bored, so need to find other things to occupy my mind.Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £26,322.6712

Thank you it was so nice to come back on here and find your lovely messages. I do know everyone is finding it hard so I've pulled myself together, made some dinner and going to sit on sofa with dog, put the fire on and watch some rubbish tv. Any suggestions?! Bin day tomorrow so I've squashed some boxes down to get them out of the house.Magnolia Stellata12

I've worked out that I would have enough annual leave to take a day off every week between now and the end of my contract so that may be a good way to make it less tiring. I normally save my leave so I can go to Spain regularly but clearly that's not an option at the moment. So thats 1 out of 3 of my priority tasks completed and I have arranged a time (tomorrow) to do the recording for my accreditation. Fingers crossed that all goes to plan!
256. Extended notice at work
257. Finally got around to taking out "Zoom Pro" - been procrastinating on this for aaaaaaaaaages....

Hi all!Hope everyone's OK and I'm glad to see you're feeling a bit better stellata. It is hard to be stuck in, so many 'huges' to everyone. (I like that better than hugs...)Thank you for my gold star Mrs SD. I am, of course, deeply honoured. I want to thank my parents, my family, the wonderful team without which it wouldn't be possible and to point out the lack of diversity in the decluttering industry. (Hey! You crack up your way, I'll crack up mine...
)
I think people are doing really well with the decluttering, especially considering that it's so disheartening not being able to get rid of the results of our labours. Decluttering has been shifted towards the back burner in favour of de-virusing (which ought to be a word even though it isn't!) I've done some decluttering even so. I've got a pile of clothing/rags to donate to the fire service, but the collection point's 14 miles away. It's a really nice ride up Deeside (the Scottish one) but we're in lockdown, of course.
Anyhoo, I got rid of:Glass candle jars - 2Pens and a pencil that don't work - 3Paper packaging - 1Cardboard boxes - 3It occurs to me that I never counted the decluttered rabbit (to DD's Dad's, not - tempting though it was - the slow cooker...) and associated 'stuff' in my totals so:Rabbit - 1Enormous cage - 1Bags of hay, bedding, litter for potty, pellets, shredded paper for cage/potty, bag of paper to line cage bottom - 7Assorted scoops, cage disinfectant etc - 6Assorted toys/blanket - 5Assorted 'treats' - 6Rabbit (cat, really) carrier - 1Potties - 2 (1 in the cage, ! for 'outside' use)Water bottle (which decluttered itself by falling out of the bag and breaking - oops!) - 1So, an overall total of 39, which (I think) brings my grand total to 577. I'll change it if I'm wrong.Happy decluttering and stay safe and wellA budget is like a speed sign - a LIMIT not a TARGET!!

4. DAY TO DAY DECLUTTERING WILL CONTINUE
Wednesday has not been so productive 😞 Got up late - gone 11:00 hangs head in shame 😞 Overcast all day but no rain & I think it was slightly warmer 😉
Two big bags of compost arrived today so if the weather is OK tomorrow we will be doing some gardening & having a bash at growing potatoes 😉 The NOT knitting has gone by the board - started knitting scarf no.34 - something to do whilst watching TV. DH had a bath & then went to sm armed with a list & the instruction NOT to buy replacements 😆 He came back with absolutely everything on the list. The added bonus of DH being our designated shopper is that I am not spending any money 🤣
Lunch was hm soup for DH & I - sadly only enough left for one person 🙁 DSis had toast & a couple of slices of cheese. I have made a small start on cleaning the main oven - removed the shelves & took out the inner glass door. This (& the outer door) have had an initial scrub with bicarbonate of soda & white vinegar. Rinsed, dried & out back. Tomorrow I will wash in soapy water & polish up & clean inside the oven. Then the bit I really dislike - cleaning the Shelves - takes forever ☹️ Should probably soak them in the bath but I know myself 😉 out of sight out of mind 🤣 - if I do the cleaning in the kitchen I have to do it 😉
Dinner was 😋 - a creamy chicken, bacon & mushroom tagliatelle dish. Must have been good as DSis had seconds 😊 Even better I only used half a chicken breast 👏 There was a ladleful leftover which has been bagged & frozen - will be used for soup at some stage.

Well done on the decluttering stellata 👏 Please do not get too down about not being able to get cs items out of the house. I am sending you virtual hugs 🤗 - I really, really miss the very dodgy hug emoji that we used to have 😉 A new language, write a list of all the things you miss doing due to the current situation & work out which one you will do first, invent a recipe - how am I doing 😂
Nice to see you Abbafan1972 🙂 Hope your DH is staying safe. Sorry you are bored. Have you got a list of little niggly jobs to do - perhaps pick one a day or maybe do something that you have never had the time to do because you have been working - learn a language, sort out your recipe book 😆 I still have the last series of GOT to watch 😉
Very positive attitude EnergyShifter 🙂 You are a glass half full person 👏 making the most of a bad situation.
Oh basketcase - I nearly wet myself reading your post 🤣 I laughed so hard 🤣 Well done on the decluttering 👏 Think of all that space when it finally leaves your home 😉 something to look forward to 🙂
Stay safe everyone & ‘huges’ to one & all 😉

Hope everyone is staying safe and healthy at this unusual time 💗
Thank you for the encouragement MRS SD it really does help to keep us all motivated 😀
Lockdown sees me home-schooling my 4 year old whilst caring for a now 2 month old bouncing baby which doesn't leave much time for decluttering but we've done our best.
March update 163/168 (overall -23)
No eBay items have gone (due to lockdown) so it's mostly scanning & burning paperwork and sorting out cupboards / drawers of little things and knick knacks.
Our big aim for April is to sort out kitchen cupboards, build a compost bin (uses up lots of pallets from the garden) and put together the benches that have been on the to do list for ages!
Happy decluttering everyone, we can do this!11
