Decluttering is limited to the bin from now on and as a cheeky person put all their old packaging in my bin after the bin men came, there isn't much room in there. I'm slowly decluttering my food cupboard, never been so glad of my hoarding habits. Living rurally and low income as a child really helps now. As it's only me here and I'm stocked up with multivitamin pills I think I'll be ok on a very dull diet for a bit. The car worries me though. I know I've got a trickle charger in the shed somewhere so I'll look that out if it doesn't start when I need to go out. I've stopped listening to the radio as I can't cope with the news, am watching lots of tv and listening to podcasts. Exercise is just a bit of YouTube yoga and up and downstairs really. Family keep in touch when they can and X tells me his sons are bringing him food but I do worry about all of them. I've tried other online forums but so many people seem very angry and stressed, it's nice to come on here. Hope it won't be too long but like everyone else I've no idea whether I'll have a job to go back to. Thank you everyone for the contact and "friendship" :-)Magnolia Stellata11

I read an article saying our fridges have more bacteria than our toilets so today I cleaned mine out.
1916-1917 - two tubs of mcdonalds sauces (no idea how long they have been there)
1918 out of date salad dressing
1919 out of date Chinese sauce
1920 - cheese been there a while
1921 - cut of ginger used up
1922 - soya yogurt eaten
1923 - 1932 - 9 pieces from DD's craft boxes
1933 - 1934 - old notepads no use recycled
1935- 1950 DD's birthday cards recycled
1951- old toy from little one
1952 - old face mask that is now out of date
What DD doesn't know is that later on, her toys in one room are going to be gone through and a huge percentage removed.
Hoping to hit 2000 by the end of April.
Hope everyone else is ok. x

Echo stellata comments on contact and friendship...I've been listening to the news too much, mainly international and going to cut down. Have been cleaning. Skirting and ceiling/picture rail in one room, also kitchen bin lid, 610 - 612 (counting as dust and dirt decluttered)
613 timer in CS bag
614 bits of game we no longer have binned
615 paper being kept for a rainy day recycled (have lots of other rainy day things)
616 -617 sorted some paper work (some of the slow sort going through page by page and flagging things to do and emails to write).
618 some presents put in designated present drawer (tend to be scattered)
I'm trying to get the wii working but may try and youtube yoga as a few days before I can go out for a walk
Take care x

Re: exercising - I saw a post today where a man put either oil or washing up liquid on a tiled floor in front of his sink and then used it to slide a little, he then build up speed and it worked just like atreadmill. Good afternoon one and all,
Mrs SD oven cleaning only normally happens when I have a staycation/ horrible weather day. Thought this was a good time to get all the Yukky jobs done so once we have our freedom back I won't need to waste a a glorious day on it/ them.
Stripped the bed including mattress protector and washed it all. Put bedding on the line when it was nice and warm but because of the cold wind that has come down it will need to be finished in the tumble dryer. Two pillows went into the bin. Looking toward to using our new ones tonight.Planted rest of the potatoes, egg boxes that they were sitting in recycled.Potted baby seedling tomato plants into a slightly bigger pots, separating the seedlings (I always put 2-3 in each mini pot then you don't waste too much compost. 13 cherry tomato plants have germinated so will pass a couple onto neighbours.Planted up half the sweet corn, butternut squash and all the cabbage seeds. - a few days early, but they will all stay in the warmth until mid May. Old newspaper that had been used to protect surface - recycled.
just the runner beans and second half of the corn and squash to plant.Made a fruit cake. Used up self raising flour, bag in recycling bin. Used up raisins. The fruit had been soaking in sherry for two days. I also have fruit soaking in brandy. I'm going to make my first Christmas cake. We will have it in the summer. If all goes well will make an extra one as a Christmas present.Hubby hoovered his and my car. Decluttered the content from the Dyson cleaner.Bag with big while in binned.
That's all for now, I now have my feet up watching a bit of light tv.2025 Fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons

I tackled the playroom and the boxes in there. She was surprisingly okay with me going through it apart from a few bits that she refused to bin despite the fact that didn't remember them having it, has never used them, and isn't like to use them at all.
Anyway, 27 items were dumped in the bin. Most of them small, but 4 old colouring books in the recycling bin, as well as some bits and pieces of toys that were broke, part missing, or just old.
1979 is my new total. x

188-190: 3 items from the fridge dadnabbit!
191: another inch of paperwork from varying sources (receipts, companies hoping to sell me life insurance...)
192-193: a couple of pieces of life maintenance - bills paid while the paperwork is at the top of the heap. (blushes)
About to do some batch cooking from my stores, hoping that one ingredient has survived the freezer.‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.
