513 -514 old food binned and nearly too old food trimmed and put in freezer
515 important document scanned and emailed
516- 517 large rolls of fabric put in cs bag. Decide to count as go in as if I have to empty to count may take things out on second thoughts
518 paper declutter
519 emails declutter
520- 522 2 bottles and chocolates brought with me out of the house13 -
Had a good day yesterday! Huge bag of surplus work stuff envelopes, paper, files etc to a local charity, I managed to get the bag in the car but had to ask a passer by for help getting it out and into the charity office, it was too heavy. People are nice. Also free cycled a bag of supplements powder stuff which has been hanging about in the cupboard since ex went. And an electric toothbrush which I'd never used. 20 items in all. Up to 415 now, I'm so proud of myself I'm doing better than I ever have and I first did this challenge in 2015 I think. I give everything I can to the charity shop but Freecycle is good for the rest as the chaz can be quite fussy and is a fair hike away.Magnolia Stellata15

As DH has several health issues and is a high risk, we aren't visiting the cs or the tip so I think I shall put decluttering into slow mode. If I carry on I will have no way of getting rid of things and I will just clutter up cleared rooms. I will recycle/ bin until the council suspends collections ( already had an email suggesting they will at some point ). I will be cheering everyone on from the sidelines though.nan
Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently12 -
Nothing from me this week. Little one's birthday so planning and delivering party at home and just trying to get on top of the house again. I haven't increased anything in the house though apart from a little more food. Not stock piling, I just did a full shop yesterday when I got paid. xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330
Starting afresh.
You can do anything if you put your mind to it. x11 -
Day 74
- cleared out a bucket full of mud, slutch and leaves in the gutter that runs in front of the garage!
- 1 skateboard (outgrown) to new CS bag
- Sorted through tool box and garage shelf = stack of duplicates and stuff that will not get used to bin (I'd say about 20 items)
- Trimmed and fixed the tumble dryer vent - so half of it in the bin and trip hazard gone.

1. DO NOT PUT OFF TO TOMORROW WHAT CAN/SHOULD BE DONE TODAY2. WRITE AND USE “TO DO LISTS” - MINIMUM 10 MINUTE BURSTS OF ACTIVITY UNTIL THE DECLUTTERING MOJO RETURNS (Thanks oceanspirit 👏)
3. LEAVE A ROOM TIDIER THAN WHEN I ENTERED
4. KITCHEN WILL BE LEFT CLEAN & TIDY EVERY NIGHT
5. WHEN DEALING WITH CLUTTER I WILL USE ‘Daisy1571’s idea of ‘WHAT WOULD I DO WITH THIS ITEM IF IT WAS SOMEONE ELSE’S?Friday - stocked up on postage stamps before the price hike on the 27th, had acupuncture & medical massage & then went to sm - still no toilet paper, no pasta & now no frozen vegetables. DH went to a different sm for cans - no tp, no pasta & no flour. All these people making their own pasta 😂. DSis also went shopping - different sm. DB phoned - he is working in Scotland & is concerned he may not be able to get home to Germany 😱
His district has shut down the schools (he has 2 boys) but the teachers have to go in (his wife is a teacher) - confused 🤷♀️ I know I am 😐
Dinner was sausages, mash, baked beans & chopped tomatoes.
Fell asleep on the sofa & woke up 8:00 a.m. Saturday - stayed up so I could pay milkman 😃 Told me about a customer who left a £20 note on the bin & didn’t want the change - Covid-19 rears it’s head. Watched lots of TV, did some knitting & some reading up about the coronavirus. It beggars belief the mixed messages that TPTB are giving - makes me rather angry 😡 in fact. Self isolate but when the warm weather comes we are all supposed to be out & about - pardon, run that by me again. Rant over.DSis cooked dinner - sm lasagne & garlic bread.
562 - 572 Glass bottle, glass jar, 5 newspapers, 2 brochures, 2 bags of kitchen recycling, large bag of office recycling - Recycled573 - 575 Two bags of kitchen detritus, Uu pen - BinnedGood work ailz95 👏 Your day out sounds lovely 😊 No I don’t ride - just a pillion which means I can sleep on long journeys 😂
Great work shangaijimmy 👏 Loitering golf clubs 😂
Good work TC77 👏 Well done on resisting the temptation to take things out of the CS bag 😉
Brilliant work stellata 👏 See, all that practice in previous years has made you a champion declutterer 😉 You have every right to be proud of yourself & just to encourage you I am awarding you a Gold Star ⭐️ - very well done 👍
nannywindow, please keep safe. I must admit councils suspending rubbish & recycling collections seems stupid in the extreme - we can do without rats to add to Covid-19 😖Nicnak, hope the party goes/went well 😊 I imagine lots of people are like you Nicnak & are still trying to do their weekly shop - made difficult by people stockpiling 😖Wishing you success with the shed 3secondmemory 😃See you all laterMrsSD
