This weekend I did another pass of my wardrobe and filled another bag for the charity shop ( I’ve been watching capsule wardrobe/decluttering vlogs to YouTube). I had other errands to run on Sunday so it was dropped off straight away.
I did however find another item of clothing to go once I’d finished my laundry so another new bag has been started.
7/20 bags to charity8 -

Monday has been a lovely sunny day & reasonably warm - shame I didn’t have enough washing for a full load 🙁 DH & I spent some time in the back garden - weeding, tidying, moving pots etc & DH filled the bird feeders & cleaned & refilled the water bowls. DH also sorted out the wormery - now have a decent amount of worm cast for adding to compost. Lastly DH cut down & chopped up a rather large snapped branch from next door’s willow tree (we did have permission 😆) I also did a couple of jobs indoors - paid my cc bill, descaled the kettle & replaced the filter, cleaned the fridge & vacuumed downstairs. Also did some knitting. DH & I had square crumpets for lunch, DSis had a cheese sandwich. Dinner was lo chicken korma from the freezer for me + a fried egg sandwich. I cooked bacon, eggs, baked tomatoes, mushrooms & green pepper + a can of plum tomatoes for DSis & DH.

We're still going - I may have already posted this yesterday but I can't remember so feel free to just ignore me if so!
The top of the other wardrobe was attacked on Sunday - some stuff amalgamated into boxes etc, and some other stuff binned. Nothing much from up there for CS'ing , but there's a pile of newspapers that I had saved with items about the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert in 1992 that are heading to the recycling...in fairness I had no idea that they were there - they clearly got shoved up there when we moved in and I'd never got around to going back and reviewing them!
Also tackled two shelves in the bedroom - again mostly stuff to be slung out but some stuff has also been relocated and those shelves are now totally empty. Probably not a bad thing allowing that they're not the most structurally sound, these days...
I now need to have a proper think through what to move on to next I think - my wardrobe probably needs a more brutal haul-through - and there is still a fair amount of stuff to be relocated allowing for space now created, too.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

A bit of a longshot but I wonder if the museum in Zanzibar might be interested enough to pay international postage?

Dry day but lacking sunshine 🙁 No decluttering apart from money 😱 DH & I went to separate supermarkets in a bid to top up the store cupboards 🤣 Limited success but both managed to get mushrooms which was handy for the mushroom risotto I had planned 🤭 & DH managed to get some pasta 🥳 🥳 The risotto was 😋 & enough left for Wednesday night’s dinner.
I have had lovely chats with 4 of my neighbours - requisite 2m apart 😇 & so far none of us have sneezed or coughed during our conversations 😆
