My supermarket order came up trumps with only one substitute so my freezer and cupboard are full. Just as well because work has closed now (zero hours) so I have no wages from Monday. I've saved a bit but I'll have to find work soon or it'll get a bit difficult. Lodger has left to go back up north to family (fair enough) so I suppose I could get another lodger but no one as yet. I've been shopping for X as he's housebound but I can't go out to the shops just for him, it's a 20 mile round trip and i don't need to go in for work now so better stay at home I think. He has a huge family nearby so they will help. Nothings selling on eBay either. On a brighter note I had a box of things I can't eat (medical reasons) which I left outside the house. They've gone now so that's a bit of decluttering.Magnolia Stellata10

Hi, just sticking my head round the door. Another one with no work. Also having to find a care home for my mum as she's - well, confused is an understatement. Adult social care and the rest are all up to the eyeballs. Need to get something sorted in case of lockdown or illness ( I have to use public transport so always a risk.) Then I can concentrate on my own situation.‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

Wednesday has been overcast & chilly. Haven’t seen anyone today apart from DH & DSis 😱 haven’t spotted a single neighbour out & about ☹️ Exceedingly lazy day for all of us although DH did mend my DSis’s music box 🙂 & booked an M.O.T. for one of his motorbikes. Lots of questions about his health before he could book it though - a sign of the times 🙁 Anyway all booked for Thursday afternoon. He has also sent a message to our milkman to deliver an extra 4 pints of milk & add 6 eggs once a week starting Friday. I have cancelled my visit to the Chinese Medical Centre - just as a precaution. The rest of the day has been spent knitting, watching TV or playing on my iPad 😞
Dinner was chicken fried in butter with the lo risotto made into risotto cakes - fortunately I had one egg left 😁 & garden peas. It was absolutely delicious 😋 so much so that my DSis wants risotto again & again & again 😆

Good work villagelife 👏 still decluttering 👏
Great work Happy Kitties 👏
What a lovely thing to do stellata 👏😇 Fingers crossed 🤞 for you that you can get some money coming in.
Oh short_bird ☹️ it never rains but it pours 🙁☹️ Wishing you every success in your endeavours but please do try to take care of yourself as much as possible.
I will try & get back into a decluttering & cleaning mood & stop reading newspapers 😉 just too depressing & too many mixed messages + awful stories about health workers having to buy their own protective gear !!!!!!?

Does cancelling holiday count? Carrying it forward to next year.
542-543 catalogues recycled
544 shampoo sample used up and recycled
Not much more done.
May be less in future as may do more work if required as DH is self employed so may need the money.10 -
Cancelled our days away next week.
Sold 2 charcoal water purifying sticks on ebay.
Stocked up on fresh veg.
3 more old towels for friend's pets to use.
I've always kept a large stock of stuff in. My dad was known as the 3d off king (yes old money) and would buy half a dozen of something with money off - my mind goes back to the haddock and cheese toast toppers that he bought 5 of and nobody ever ate them lol. Also when we lived in Oldham we sometimes couldn't get out in winter, and neither could my parents so we would have extra stuff in and hubby would take it round to them. So I've topped up the fresh veg, but other than that, hopefully, we have enough.
My stepkids were horrified to hear we'd been to Lewes - and to a pub - on Tuesday.
We only had 1 bag for cs this week, so didn't take it - it's in the backseat of the car. I'm going to scout around for more stuff. DH has just stripped our bed, so that's a good excuse to be poking around.
Keep safe - keep healthy

Just to brighten peoples' day.
Hubbby has just refilled the olive oil bottle for me - and liberally poured it over the cauliflower steaks in the oven which needed it. I turned round, looked and then asked him why he'd filled it from the 5 ltr thing of washing up liquid!! He was horrified to find that I was right. Cauliflower in the bin. Unfortunately the washing up liquid was full, so instead of pouring it back into the 5ltrs, we quickly finished an open bottle of wine, rinsed the bottle and now he's filled it with olive oil.

Yesterday did loads of decluttering.5 boxes from the loft broken down.5 lever arch files condensed down to 2
Another 3 lever arch files condensed down to 2.Plastic wallets from files bundled up and placed in boot fair pile.Have filled the new larger paper bin right up to the top.
One file has been binned others put on boot fair pile.Gave loads of mathematics worksheets and time stables sheet to neighbour for their children to do whilst schools are out.Brought a tea set out from the loft. It use to be my nan's. (But I don't remember it). Tea plates, milk jug, sugar bowl and tea plate washed and started to be put to use. Tea cups and saucers bundled up to boot fair. I do feel a little awful about splitting the tea set up but we just won't use the cups and can't see the point of going out and buying new tea plates when we have some in the cupboard.Hubby finally broke the bookcase up and placed it into the bin.Hubby has also cut the grass and placed the grass into the garden recycling.Pruning - branches within the garden recycling.
Shower gel used up.Hot chocolate sachets used - yummy!

DH took the bike for it’s M.O.T. - unfortunately it failed ☹️ The garage has ordered the part/s & will contact DH to return next week. DH did stop off at MrS on the way home. No fresh vegetables, no red lentils but did manage to pick up 2 tins of coffee 🥳
I have finished scarf no.31 & started scarf no.32. Another day of knitting & watching TV 😞
Dinner was chicken fried in butter, boiled carrots, boiled potatoes (for DSis) but mashed together parsnip & sweet potato for DH & I. We have a new favourite 😆

618 Bag of kitchen detritus - BinnedVillagelife, sorry to hear that work will be taking up your time but far more important than decluttering in the current challenging times.
Good work ailz95 👏 Oh dear & with vegetables so hard to come by 🙁 I did like your solution 😆 but surely you don’t need an excuse to drink wine 😉 😉
You have been very busy Gem-gem 👏 putting us all to shame 😞 Shame about the tea set but cups & saucers seem to be a bit old fashioned now & at least if you sell them someone will get the pleasure of using them.
Nicnak, you are dealing with more important things than decluttering - long may work continue 🙂
See you all laterMrsSD
