Another busy day for us yesterday,
washed the windows inside and out. It was good to get out into the sun. (decluttered dirt and cobwebs)
Hubby cleated the gutters - those that he could reach.Hubby then dug over the some of our mini allotment whilst I then followed rhino deweeding it and breaking it down into smaller lumps. We are going to get the veggies into the ground as early as the season/weather will allow us to.Yes, Mrs SD I am trying to keep as busy as possible whilst we can do things. I am also trying to break my days, when not working from home, into sections eg a little cleaning, a little gardening - so to get outside then time relaxing with a good book and some light entertainment.2025 Fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons

I know that really this isn't the place but I wondered if anyone would find the information I've gleaned from a couple of elderley doctors in the US useful:
Both of the doctors are still working - up to now anyway - while being in their 70s. Take off outdoor clothing - including shoes at the door and if possible leave them outside - especially in the cold. Wear disposable gloves when out of the house and when removing them make sure that you don't touch the outside of the glove with bare hands - this is also good for reminding you not to touch your face. Tie hair back from your face as we automatically touch our faces when the hair does. Anyone coming into your home must either remove shoes - and outdoor clothing - or put on disposable booties. Oh along with outdoor clothing is handbags - don't leave them outside, of course - if possible don't take one, or put it in an 'outside' bag or under clothing. If you touch it with your gloves then it becomes something that you have to wear gloves to touch - that goes for anything. Wash the outside of all produce - bags too with soap and water.
They both have children who are doctors too, so after 14 days of the grandchildren being self isolating/social distancing at home they will go to their grandparents. They won't then be able to physically see/touch their parents until after it's all finished. Toys must be kept as inside OR outside. If children want to play outside with other kids then they'll have a set of playing with other children clothes (or more if necessary) which will have to be changed before coming back into the house properly - set aside an area near the door they use to change in. Clothes need to be washed at 40 degrees plus - 30 degrees won't kill it. If you can get hold of antiseptic/sterile wipes to use outside - no need to use them indoors if you follow the above, then do. Soap and water is best indoors. If you want to wear a mask then do so - anything that makes you feel reassured is good.
I don't know whether this is all necessary - it's what was taught as aseptic/sterile technique in operating theatres and for dressings many years ago. It may not be - but better safe than sorry.
And no decluttering done hereas I have a cold and am keeping away from everyone.

Just popping on to say thank you for good wishes & virtual hugs @mrsd and @nannywindow .
It's a lovely bright day today and I've made a decision to really try shake myself up and embrace a more positive mindset. In this out of control situation I can only do what is in my control so I'm going to focus on that. My decluttering efforts will be focussed on the garden today again!
Oh & I'm delighted to be able to take my digital thermometer back off yesterday's list - I cleaned the lens & it started working again !! will keep my total the same though as I've added a very worn out T.Shirt belonging to DS to the cleaning rags bag! See you all later

Afternoon,
Hope everyone is staying ok.
I did some decluttering in DD's room. I normally wait until she has finished school for the summer but decided to bring it forward. Got rid of 10 pairs of last size knickers, two pairs of socks, her old T-shirts that are grey/older looking, some of her pinafores, all the old tights, and pjs, t-shirts basically anything that was looking a bit passed its best or was the size below. Then I went through a pile of her books that I found stuffed at the back of the wardrobe. A fair few of them are in a CS bag that I will take to work tomorrow for the lady whose mum works in a shop( even though it isn't open). Got rid of a few of her toys, some old products I found and planted the bulbs in the garden (not counting those as being got rid of though). Total of 83 items.
= 1905 for me so far this year. Not sure if I counted the picture I had sold, but can't remember so wont add it. I have a pack of star wars collectors stamps leaving later too.

Starting afresh.
You can do anything if you put your mind to it. x13 -
Dear God what a week, it's been manic to say the least with just Covid happenings - but included helping a client move away from me, but that meant I gained a book and Nightmare Before Christmas DVD at last.........although I gave them an electric plug in radiator as the new home is cold. Such a relief to sort the rad out, was thinking I'd have to take it to the tip, so glad somebody gets some use out of it. Also have given them a ton of boxes and packing stuff, and her massive hoop back yay!I WAS hoping to start selling items, but now with the virus I've seen on Ebay groups there is a downturn in sales, so I guess not the best idea to even try. I was going to also sell wedding items but weddings are a non event now tooHope you are all keeping healthy!!!518/2020Honorary Northern Bird bestowed by AnselmI'm a Board Guide and volunteer to help get your forum questions answered and keep the forum running smoothly on Special Occasions, Green/Ethical, Motoring/Overseas/UK Travel & Flood boards, it's not part of my role to deal with reportable posts. One thing I do have to say... I’m glad I spent ages cutting up an old double sheet to make a bundle of kitchen towel alternative! Haven’t seen any type of roll (other than sausage) in the shops for a bit now!working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?8

Today’s decluttering was only small. I had a collection of out of date/not longer needed store cards that were just hanging out on the coffee table, these have been cut up and are now in the bin.
I keep all my DVD in a zip up disc wallet however I had about 6 DVDs that I’d brought in the last year that hadn’t made it into it. This is now done, I was keeping the cases incase I wanted to resell but I have decided that the space saved by not storing them is worth more to me.10
