Short-bird agree about things getting worse before better - can seem a long phase. Impressed by repentant hoarder tonight. Not done much today as work and family dominated, but did take a bag of DD1's things to her (count as 1 as her things but they are now out of my house!) and also took her more card for college project and glue stick so 355 - 357.Found some lovely soaps I will never use so put one aside for a friend, and will give others away but again count when out!9

Had a bit of a slow down this week as life seems to have gotten in the way. Plugging away though.
Day 57
- Nintendo games bundle listed on ebay (thankfully got a bid pretty much straight away)
- 1 very old board game to CS bag (no doubt returned to whence it came!)
CS bag is now full and will be dropped on the way past after school run this morning.
Great progress everyone. Keep filling those bins, recycling, and CS bags...be ruthless!!MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......11 -
I’d love to join in with this please
I don’t have much clutter other than in my spare room as my shed was broken into a few months ago so moved 60% of what hadn’t been stolen into my spare room for safety..
I have a lot of clothes, make up, skin care etc that needs sorting through.
id be looking to sell anything of value and donate allot to charity also.
i don’t know if it’s already been mentioned but would anyone like to post a list of items they want to get of? If a few of us do the same we could swap our unwanted items for items we want? Or is that besides the point of decluttering lol 🙈10 -

Seven bin bags of rubbish hauled to the tip and 6 bags of bedding and curtains to the CS... I'm not sure how much bedding I thought I needed, also I'm pretty sure my airing cupboard reaches to Narnia... that's the only explanation of how it all fit in there!
My airing cupboard is now spic and span, apart from the very top shelf which has some old sleeping bags and airbeds from that one time we went camping about 10 years ago... not sure what to do with them just yet.
I'm pretty much using the Konmari method (I popped in the Konmari thread here too)... for someone who really struggles to get rid of stuff, I'm pleasantly surprised at the progress so far! Discarding is quickly becoming my fave part of tidying

really appreciating a clearer house with room to hang clothes in the wardrobe and to get them out ready to wear instead of ready to re-iron 😊
Thankyou for keeping me enthused fellow declutterers
