My CS does the same TC77. I am looking forwar to taking my bag of spring/summer clothing in in April. No point now, it will just end up in the rag bag.
Good news today. I decluttered my sisters car so now have a space on the drive. got to nip to the bankl to put the cash in.
Got a bag to of stuff for the CS.
We finished decorating DD bedroom in the week and are going to put up her bed and move her draws in this weekend. This involves house jenga. I don't want the wardrobe from her room to go back in or go into the guest room. I want to feel that DDs room is completed and have room in the guest room (Room of Doom) as empty as possible so we can decorate properly. The wardrobe is currently on the landing and will be dismantled and put in my craft room. DH not too pleased about that but I have told him if it doesn't get done this way it will slow me down. I know my barriers and things in the way that I can't move myself are one of them. Got to tidy up a bit in there but it will be ok.
I have lined up some people to take various items including a large 2 draw set of of filing draws and a piano stool I got which has been upholstered. Nice to look at but we never use it for sitting on and have never had a piano. lolWife, mother, gardener, nurse, Big C survivor. Afternoon all,
Mine is really starting to slow down now. It will be bits and pieces as I have tackled a lot of the big stuff.
13 books of little ones in the boot for the charity shop via the work lady
1 pair of socks - binned
1 plastic box - binned
2 printer cartridges sent to recycling
17 items. I will get a few more bits decluttered over the weekend, but it wont be huge numbers. Shredded all paperwork today, but not counting it as it is bits and pieces. My dad has also come and removed 90% of the things from my garage that I was storing for him whilst his was rebuilt. My garage actually looks like a storage space now.
1803 is my new total. x

Day 60
A bit of tidying done today but not hugely motivated to do anything but sitAnyway I've found a few things for bin and/or CS:
- 1 DD game to CS (too old for it now)
- About 10 pieces of various toys to bin
- 2 kids magazines to recycling
I may to add to this later, but if not I'm happy enough.

I made a start on the ‘cupboard of doom’, and instead of putting things back in that I need to sort out, I’ve left them out in the bedroom so I can gradually sort them instead of leaving them in the cupboard for a few more months. Also sorted the drawer of doom, still some bits to sort through but it’s looking a lot less ‘doomy’ than it was.
Things I got rid of during the sort out:-
1. 15 old birthday cards – recycling
2. t-shirt CS
3. & 4. 2 blouses - CS
5. Toiletry bag - CS
6. Soft toy - CS
7. CD - CS
8-25 17 books – CS
26 & 27. 2 jigsaw puzzles - CS
28. Car air freshener – put in car
29. Electrical surface mounting box – CS
30. VHS videos – freecycle
31. 2 cushions – CS
32. Medical cushion – freecycle
33. Pedometer – CS
34. Pile of paperwork – filed/shredded/recycled
35. 6 old diaries – pages recycled, covers binned
36. 2 tubes of glue – dried up so binned
37 & 38. A vase and planter taken to my parents grave
The following belonged to my late DH and I know he would have been telling me to get rid of them as he no longer needs them, but it’s been so hard to let them go, I’m sure he’ll be proud of me for doing so.
39. Trainers (almost new) CS
40. Slippers (hardly used) CS
41 & 42. toiletry sets43 & 44. Novelty gifts (unused) – CS
45 More paperwork shredded/recycled, all belonged to my DH, mostly his work stuff and pension documents. I had no reason to keep them this long, as they all paid out the death benefits when he passed in 2016, but even this was hard to get rid of. I had to empty the shredder about 6 times, and it overheated at least 4 times, lol, also had another pile that didn’t need shredding.
I thought I was finally going to get rid of the wok, that I’ve had on shpock for a while, last week. I accepted the offer then got a message from the buyer asking if I could send it to her, as she doesn’t drive, I wasn’t willing to do that so she told me to cancel the offer.
