First of all, many thanks to posters whom I have not thanked- various reasons. More power to your elbow those of you who have to deal with health problems, low energy or even the bad weather over in UK. I have not met my February target of four bags. And I am not getting upset about it. This is a wee project not something for us to beat ourselves up over. But I have managed two bags. One is a very large envelope full of those cellophane covers cards come in given to a very grateful lady who makes cards for charity. The other is a bag of rags as I have been sorting through clothes again - something I like to do when its wet. It has been very wet here, every day practically all day. So what did I do yesterday - I went off to a charity shop far far away and bought for 10 euros a brand new double sheet pure cotton embroidered top to replace the one that went into the rag bag.I will try for 6 in March. Keep safe everyone.14

Well done everyone for keeping posting. Even when someone posts they decluttered one thing, it makes me realise how many days I haven’t even got rid of one thing and makes me scan for unwanted stuff. And some of the items listed then make me realise something I’ve become clutter blind to! Eg the aprons on the kitchen door.
so keep going and keep posting even the tiny bits... they trigger thought patterns
decluttered an ornament that has sad memories (and it’s a pain to dust) so OH agreed it can go in the charity bag. Also a plate with a display of candles and stones (again horrid to dust).Charity bag is nearly full. And OH asked what else can go as he said it’s unusual for me to be in this mood. I did point out that I’ve been steadily decluttering and taking to charity shops for a few weeks now.... but since most have been my clothes, he hasn’t really noticed much!working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?13 -

Been through the craft drawers... a very small bag to go to charity and a large box ready for a friend and her teenage daughter who want a jewellery making evening.
found some forgotten not even started projects too... must get motivation to get back to it.
and i definitely don’t need any more beads for a while... until I see something sparkly of courseworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?13 -

Still have huge stash of crockery/cutlery!374 - 402 - I still have to sort out papers which I'm still hoping to do today - or some of it!and hopefully update here.14

Hi everyone
I love this thread - so supportive and inspiring and it definitely spurs me on to do something. Just a little update
4 pillow inserts - bin
random bits of tat from a drawer in coffee table - bin
Candle used up, spare wax removed and jar cleaned - jar to recycling, wax melted down into a new candle
Money Box - Great niece
Not much today but managed to feed my addiction (decluttering) in between shopping, buying and fitting a carpet for mums flat and then cleaning said flat.
Night all

A small amount done
470 an empty paint tin.
471 more paperwork shredded
472 a tin recycled which I would have kept in the last to see if it would be useful.
473 another sock with a hole in it
474 more empty tealight holders
475-476 body wash samples used up and binned
Little and often is certainly helping me keep motivated this year so far.12 -
