Hi all!
I've been a keen reader of your updates and progress in the past 2 months - it has kept me entertained during the late night / early morning feeds.
It's been a busy few weeks (baby arrived safely but I've been recovering from my c-section so been a bit slow on my feet) hence my lack of updates.
So this post incorporates January and February favourite updates.
January - total 129 / 168
-39 overall isn't too bad considering arrival of baby but room for improvement.
Mainly my son's outgrown clothes and old baby clothes that wouldn't fit my daughter (she's a little chunky monkey) to the charity shop and sorting out kitchen cupboards (unwanted and unneeded items binned or recycled).
February - total 189 / 168
-18 overall is an improvement which I hope to catch up on in the coming months.
Decided to rearrange drawers and boxes in bedroom so found (and sorted) lots of odd socks and clothes which needed to be put in rag bag or charity bag. My husband has decided he wants to support my efforts and so has started to make a start on huge pile of scanning (we want to go paperless this year) he has developed.
Plastic recycling finally gone as well as several mixed loads to the tip have also made a dint in our clutter pile.
Best wishes to you all for the coming decluttering month 😀

many thanks Mrs SD for my merit award. You are so encouraging, so much so that I've got another March bag to go . A small one full of bits and pieces of embroidery thread. All remaining threads now in separate little bundles or skeins and enough space in the box for my reels of cotton. Which means more space in the sewing drawer from which I moved lots of fluff, odd bits of thread etc. A very tidy sewing drawer now. Rather immodest to boast, but I am really really pleased with my wee thread bundles and the tidy drawer. A wee lift with all the bad weather and virus gloom. Keep safe everyone. That's 3 March bags now.13

working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?10 -
newlywed said:Ooh a tea subscription... I did one of those but every individual teabag sample was plastic wrapped then the main box was plastic wrapped... so I decided to switch to loose leaf more often...
but I drink PG whenever OH makes the tea 😊
I recently bought some self fill biodegradable bags that are helping me drink more loose leaf (I'm on a mission to get my stash down before it all goes out of date >.<), I have a load of the metal / silicone infusers but they are such a faff to clean out I find I just can't be bothered with them, so the tea bags are working out much easier and I'm drinking a lot more of it!
