Thought we might have had trouble getting vegan food while out and about, but everywhere seems to have it. The hotel has a Bella Italia attached, they had a vegan menu (including pudding!), Pizza Hut, supermarkets, of course. Really we could have ate most places and not needed to eat salad at all. I'm determined though that we'll be Plant based whole food eaters and not eat much in the way of processed food.
Yes, Mrs S D, I think I am feeling better for being vegan. We went to a supermarket last week and I walked round - I've not managed that for over 5 years. I've cut back on my medication. especially the tramadol and codeine and I've not taken any paracetamol for about 10 days. As of tomorrow I'll be cutting my blood pressure tablets in half. All positive results for a long-term sicko.
I didn't notice much difference but then I was a fairly healthy 30 year old when I went vegan, 14 years ago now. I am amazed at how mainstream it has become in that time. I was vegetarian before that and even being veggie was considered more "fringe" back in the early nineties.12 -
A burst of energy has seen me add the following items to the freegle box (which hopefully is to be collected by a charity)
4 part rolls of wallpaper
10 bottles of kids paints
2 bottles fabric paint
tissue paper
box of shapes punched from old cards/paper
3 part used notebooks
3 paint palettes
1 bottle of glitter glue
paintbrushes
the following has also been dealt with
3 almost used fabric paints - bottles washed and recycled
various scrappy bits - recycling or bin (as appropriate)
Off now to have hair decluttered, back later

A few quieter days due to being away over the weekend, however when packing clothes and toiletries on Thursday night I did sort through the sachets in my travel toiletries basket and get rid of anything elderly or that I simply wouldn't use...
Back to the full declutter again this evening I think.

Hi allTo the ongoing cs bag today, 3 hair clamps and a new pair of slipper socks. To the recycling box a metal container and a plastic one, several booklets/ leaflets that had been buried and forgotten. Also sorted my shopping bags and they are now nestled Russian doll style ( so no longer dotted about the house ) A few Sunday plastic bags gone too and more paperwork to the shredding pile, but that can't go out til next Tuesday's collection. The office is now ship shape again
. Onwards and upwards folks.
nanFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently11 -

serendipity2706 & MrsSD - I still have about 50 types of tea so plenty spare!
My sister got me a tea subscription for my birthday last year so I have 3 new flavours coming through the door each month too, so it's an ever growing collection (and guess what I still drink PG tips 90% of the time
)
I hope you know your capable, & brave, & significant.
even when it feels like your not....11 -
