Since I last posted, I finally sorted out the cupboard under the sink in the kitchen, which was in a real mess! Took everything out, washed the cupboard and put things back in tidily. I found 2 packs of kettle descaler sachets so took a sachet out to use and got the rest condensed into 1 box, got some other things out of their boxes (a magic sponge, a micro fibre cloth and some latex gloves), and put the boxes in recycling. I found 4 floral picks, 2 of which I binned, but kept the 2 with butterflies.
I have so many cleaning products in the cupboard, which I must use before buying anymore (I have a bit of an addiction to the cleaning aisle, lol), but at least they are now more organised, and I have a list of what’s in there.
A few months ago I cut down part of the bushes at the bottom of the garden, and they have been piled up to be gradually put in the garden waste bin for recycling, so I’ve managed to get rid of some of that. I took some old envelopes in to work to be used for internal mail, and also (finally) took the used batteries in to put in recycling.

Knee draining sounds painful. I think should count it towards your decluttering total seen as though it is something leaving. xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330
Starting afresh.
You can do anything if you put your mind to it. x11 -

Day 53
Mrs SJ sorted through DD's clothes:
- Large carrier bag of clothes for friends donation
I then decluttered a storage cabinet from the kitchen into DD's wardrobe to allow for some more drawers in her room
Day 54
Fresh from DDs clothes I got together the huge pile of socks and tights that she seems to have multiplied:
- Large pile of socks to CS bag
- The games bundle sold on ebay, so are bagged up and ready to go the post office tomorrow (£47 profit, when I was hoping for £20, so a lovely surprise)
- Unsold item (I wasn't expecting a sale anyway) into CS bag

Very little decluttering done today...just had emergency plumber due to leaking radiator and couldn't find stepladders for him to change pressure and had to climb over things to take a chair in the other room.... hoping I'm at the stage where it looks worse before it looks better....really want to get one or two rooms ok.... may try and set a daily target....I have boxes and bags with things to sort but scattered throughout the house so going to try and put in one space - I did that with small storage boxes and DD1 took a few of these. She has too much on at the moment ..Just paused to watch some of the hoarding programme and have put a radio, plastic tool box and GCSE revision book in the CS. 341- 343 into CS344 moved small shelf unit which has little on it to a sensible place and putting small storage boxes etc so there are off the floor and can be used to tidy elsewhere or got rid of!Have a good week everyone x11

Had our monthly/2 monthly 3 nights away last week. As it was half-term we went to my stepdaughter's to play with the grandkids. She's decided to declutter her husband. His family are useless so I'm being his main support - he had a heart attack a couple of years ago and is a recovering narcoting and alcohol addict. I'm determined that he'll keep up the recovery - luckily so is he. Stepdaughter is scared that he'll go back on it and it'll kill him. So it was a pretty hectic time. She doesn't want him to move out - he works away a lot - but we tried to persuade her that he needs to for both their sanities. They haven't told the children either.
Thought we might have had trouble getting vegan food while out and about, but everywhere seems to have it. The hotel has a Bella Italia attached, they had a vegan menu (including pudding!), Pizza Hut, supermarkets, of course. Really we could have ate most places and not needed to eat salad at all. I'm determined though that we'll be Plant based whole food eaters and not eat much in the way of processed food.
Not much decluttering done - except money of course. I don't know what the carer fed MIL, but most of the food I left was still here when we came back. The veg were all roasted and most made into a Seitan stew with dumplings and roasted tomatoes into a risotto. I've also just decluttered half a pack of vegan biscuits - just to check them out, of course.
Yes, Mrs S D, I think I am feeling better for being vegan. We went to a supermarket last week and I walked round - I've not managed that for over 5 years. I've cut back on my medication. especially the tramadol and codeine and I've not taken any paracetamol for about 10 days. As of tomorrow I'll be cutting my blood pressure tablets in half. All positive results for a long-term sicko.Clutter free wannabee 2021 /52 bags to cs. /2021 'stuff' out of the placeYOU CANNOT BE ALL THE GOOD THAT THE WORLD NEEDS, BUT THE WORLD NEEDS ALL THE GOOD YOU CAN BEtaken from Shelbizleee on YouTube - her copyright10
