Same thing happened to me... Did you receive the wine?Jazzking said:Got my wine code on Tuesday and did the order, ticked for updates, but didn't get any confirmation. Then got sent the same code again yesterday but it says it isn't valid. When you use your code should I have expected a confirmation email?

Thank you Green Hornet! And therefore Virgin could feasibly have offered a quality bottled / canned beer alternative for those of us (and there are more than a few!) that clearly prefer delicious beers instead of wines or non-alcoholic wines. High quality 'craft' beer and traditional ales are increasingly popular with people of all ages (except minors of course) and my honest opinion is that Virgin may have 'missed a trick' here!The_Green_Hornet said:
Virgin Wines also sells beer.kaMelo said:
This promotion is not about being generous to customers though. "Virgin Wines" is already a thing and this is about advertising that, hopefully getting some new customers because of it.cricidmuslibale said:It's a shame (from my point of view anyway) that switching to this Virgin Money Current Account didn't come with an alternative offer of a selection of high quality beers instead of wines. It would have actually been considerably less expensive for Virgin Money to offer the same number of bottled or high quality canned beers (no cheap rubbish lager please!) as they have bottles of wine and considerably more attractive to some of us!
"Virgin Beers" may have been cheaper but it's not a thing and Virgin has no interest in advertising it.1 -
A question on moving direct debits. I just moved 2 direct debits to a dormant account so that I can use this account to switch. The direct debits will take 10 days or so to move and then maybe not taken for a while as they are monthly. When should I initiate the switch - after 10 days? I have only got about 17 days left to do the switch. I guess as long as the dd are on the account whether they have been used yet will not matter?0

It seems each time I get an email from VM updating me about what's happening I seem to get a duplication of that later. So maybe it's the system, I may expect my code, action it then get it again, who knows.0 -

That was the case when i set up a dd to PO saver from a TSB acc and took around 10 days to set up. Paypal dd are quite easily and quickly set up though.0

Regarding the VM app, can i uninstall it and return to regular online banking? Or is it a case of no return!

You could always try and see what happened. I have frequently uninstalled apps and then re-installed them.Aidanmc said:Regarding the VM app, can i uninstall it and return to regular online banking? Or is it a case of no return!
No telling though what would happen with a Virgin Money app.0 -
I have just uninstalled my partner's app as he now has his wine voucher. (Switch completed 15th Dec)Aidanmc said:Regarding the VM app, can i uninstall it and return to regular online banking? Or is it a case of no return!
However when I try to login to his internet banking it is still asking me to confirm login via the app.
I needed to install the app for myself as my switch is due to complete next Tuesday and we only have one smartphone between us !
This means that I will have to keep uninstalling and installing depending on who wants to login.
