Virgin Money Current Account

Can someone remind me, please, if you already hold a Virgin Money Current Account and want to apply for another, is it better to log in and select "I already have an account with Clydesdale Bank, Yorkshire Bank or B" (as Virgin is not listed), or not to log in and apply from scratch without selecting the "Clydesdale etc". I know their system throws a wobbly, but can't remember which way round it is...0

Yes, I hold a VM current account and applied for another recently by selecting 'I already have an account with Clydesdale Bank, Yorkshire Bank or B"10_66 said:Can someone remind me, please, if you already hold a Virgin Money Current Account and want to apply for another, is it better to log in and select "I already have an account with Clydesdale Bank, Yorkshire Bank or B" (as Virgin is not listed), or not to log in and apply from scratch without selecting the "Clydesdale etc". Just a heads up on standing orders paid from the VM current account. I have one payable on 25th of every month but this month it is listed as a payment on 24 July 2020.3

I agree, but it is unusual for it to initially show with Friday's date early on Saturday morning when it falls on a Saturday.typistretired said:Yes it is usually the next working day if falls on the weekend0 -
I've been noticing such things occasionally with Yorkshire Bank for years. They probably happen more often than I've noticed. Yorkshire Bank and Virgin Money are of course both trading names of Clydesdale Bank, so probably all have the same back-end and policies for when weekend payments are earmarked.RG2015 said:
