You need to understand, people doing this will have more than this Virgin account.  There is also the TSB, which earnt me £1.90 this month.  There are others.  These amounts all add up.  I usually earn over £250 per month playing the game.

Another way of looking at it, is that you would have to put 200,000 in a high street bank’s savings account to earn the same amount, as none of them are now paying more than 0.01%

Too many hassles opening this one. Only ever had  verification issues opening with HSBC before. It does not appear to be a reliable one so other than access to paired savings account I will not use meaningfully.

Fair point, although compared to the Halifax a Reward account, the VM account is pretty unremarkable.
