49 pages is a lot - yes you can.
There's no set limit, though Virgin Money told us you'd need to have a good reason to open further accounts. When pressed, it suggested that opening another account to get more interest wouldn't be considered a good reason, but opening a joint account with your partner as you liked your individual account so much would be seen much more kindly.

Card and PIN arrived quickly. Applied for new account on the 4th in the evening. Card and PIN arrived on the 8th.0 -
I've also got two of these, plus an old B (3 years old) which has just been rebranded (new card arrived last week. Confused me a bit as it wasn't clear it was a B replacement card).I opened the first VM in May and second in June. All 3 accounts have a £1k OD facility (offered at application page) but I just paid £1k into each and leave it.When I opened the first (and second) I was logged in so it pre-filled in most the form anyway. I just updated a few bits to bring it up to date. Went through the application and was offered account and OD; clicked accept to the offer and account was visible instantly on mobile app. Very easy & smooth process in my view.0

When you say "in person" you mean a picture of someone holding the card? (Do they need to smile too?)

Darn it, I've fallen foul of the (overzealous?) security..
Tried to make a payment from Virgin to another of my accounts, needed to verify this with the app which I duly did. Not good enough, I now need to phone them up. Again I duly did, passed all relevant questions and confirmed I really did want to make the payment which should be released in four hours.
I know security is essential but this is rather onerous.
Log in online, confirm log in through the app. Make payment online, confirm again through the app. Phone up and pass more security, including a telephone pin, all for a few hundred pounds to a payee I've used before.
No wonder their phone lines are busy if this his how they operate.
I'm happy to put up with things to collect a bit of interest but use as a main account? No chance.3
