The claim form issue date is 18TH of May 2022...

With a Claim Issue Date of 18th May, you have until Monday 6th June to file an Acknowledgment of Service but there is nothing to be gained by delaying it.
To file an Acknowledgment of Service, follow the guidance in the Dropbox file linked from the second post in the NEWBIES thread.

Having filed an Acknowledgment of Service in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Monday 20th June 2022 to file your Defence.
That's over three weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute.
To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look again at the second post on the NEWBIES thread - immediately following where you found the Acknowledgment of Service instructions.
Don't miss the deadline for filing an Acknowledgment of Service, nor that for filing a Defence.

Do not try and file a Defence via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Once an Acknowledgment of Service has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'.

    Hi Keithp
Thanks  a lot for your guidance .  I have submitted the Acknowledgement of service .The dentist hs ultimately agreed to give me a letter that I  was allowed to park and PCN was wrongly issued and also that he had contacted the issuing company who said this claim belongs to the DCBL now and they have no more power to cancel .

That's good.  Attach it as an exhibit at witness statement stage. Nothing goes with the defence.

Please send a pm to @MSE_Laura_F as I believe you now have four threads about this same case. They all need merging for context, otherwise we can't assist you properly.

Please don't start any new discussions about this case; just reply on the merged thread.

"He talked to the company and they said "we  could have cancelled if contacted in first instance  but we have sold that case to DCBL a law firm and it no more belongs to them".I received few letters from DCBL urging to pay £160 which I never responded .Now I have received a COUNTY COURT CLaim Form  .its fromDCBL via Northampton"

They cannot sell this on. They do try to make out that the claim has been sold or "assigned" but in court it will be PPL as Claimant and the Driver/Keeper as Defendant. DCBL may represent PPL . DCBL are just grubby bottom feeders.

Would the dentist sign a WS to say that you had permission to park in one of the four spaces allocated to his surgery?  Why does he want to pay this notorious ex clamper who is a blight on Birmingham?

This company can be beaten at court but it would be useful to have a WS from the dentist.

  • The facts as known to the Defendant:

    2. It is admitted that the Defendant was the registered keeper of the vehicle in question.

    3. The defendant  had some work in the area and asked the Principal dentist/owner of Dental  practice, an old known friend ,who  allowed to park the car in  dental surgery parking space on 19Th of May 2021 .

    4. A PCN was  wrongly issued which was brought into notice of the dental surgery owner and he  raised this matter  with Premier parking Logistics . Later  on only one more  Letter was  received asking to pay £160 which was issued by a company DCBL on behalf of premier parking Logistics.Again the defendant took it to Dental practice owner  who raised it with the parking company and they said this debt belongs to DCBL now and now  they have no control over
