parking charge from premier parking lodgistics

Hi . i received a parking charge notice from premier parking logistics which i appealed and they refused .i took it to IAS,( which i beleive is a useless system introduced to satisfy motorists and help parking cowboys ),again no win . Now i received a letter from debt recovery firm .My plea from the start was that their signage was not clear and i just entered into the bay and their operative came to place and started taking pictures while even the engine was on and i was in the car .Kindly advise me what to do next .Here is the first letter of appeal which i wrote with the help of forum

It is not a fine.

Debt collectors can safely be ignored.

IAS appeals are fixed and should not be used, but that cannot now be helped.

You should never reveal the driver's identity.

There is nothing you can do now except wait to see if you receive real court papers.

Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.

Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Thanks for your helpful replies .Also can they affect my credit score or my visa extension application if matter goes to court ? . And if it goes to court who will take it premier logistics or DCBL the debt recovery agency?

If it does go to court, it will be taken there by either the PPC or a solicitor.

Its true they are scammers .Even in my case it is a car park in bridge street where only number 10 bay belonging to CFS ltd is managed by premier parking logistics ,Rest of the parking bays are managed by a different parking company .As i entered into bay managed by premier logistics by mistake (adjacent to the bay where i was allowed to park) ,a parking attendant turned up and started taking the pictures of my car from the back although the engine was running and i was in the car . I came off the car and asked him the reason of pictures ,He indicated me to a very small font newly placed Notice placed at afar distance . I went to read it and he had the oppurtunity to take pictures of car showing it as unoccupied .He said to me if you were not here for long you will not get a ticket but i received one in the post . Although i told the company that I just entered into this bay and never parked in the real sense . They replied that its a permit holder only bay and no valid permit was displayed so you have to pay even if was only a minute . According to them a contract is formed as you enter into the bay. . I Beleive that they just try to rip off people of money by con man tactics .

Hi . I received a letter few days ago from gladstone solicitors about a pcn issued by premier parking logistics in 2019 .I appealed that with the company and ISA both refusals .  I made a subject access request as guided by the forum . REceived the documents from the parking compny yesterday .  PLease help me what to do

These were my points for IAS appeal . 

1.wrong time of incident mentioned on pcn .Time mentioned of incident is 11.10 on 29/7/2019.while i moved my car out immediately after their attendant took the pictures in a hurry  at 11.04. while arguing with me .At 11.05 i moved out of the place and i have an eye witness If company have any cctv or photage evidence of me in that place at 11.10 they  should provide it to ias and i am happy to pay the charge 

2.The notice about bay 10 placed by this company is placed in such a way and small fonts that it can not be read while driving past the bay 10 even while parked you can not read it  until you come off the car and go close by .Its self explanatory from their photage of my car also i have attached a photo to prove that .I believe  its company responsibility to place signs in such a way that a driver can read it while driving past .

 3.There is no additional notice or signage from the company at the main gate to show that .Rather there are notices displayed by another company named parking ticketing ltd  which are about 8 in number good font size and visible,from the main gate throughout the place .Which shows, Parking ticketing 

 ltd company is responsible to manage the place .Those signs are good font size and easily visible while driving past  .photo attached.

4.Furthermore ,i came to pick my pregnant wife from consulate of pakistan whose parking spaces are 10a and it does not need a permit to display  .The bay in which i entered is 10 and it is adjacent to the one belonging to consulate of Pakistan .Any person can be mislead by so close resemblance

5.In addition to this i didnt park my car in real sense , as i just entered into the bay due to misunderstanding the parking attendant turned up 

 immediately and started taking the pictures .I  got off the car explained to him that i didnt know this bay does not belong to embassy .And i just entered even the engine is running and your notice is not readable. He asked me to go close to Notice and have a look  which I did and he utilized these moments to take pictures of car to show no driver in it .

.In my opinion only entering to a bay by mistake should not be treated with such harsh punishments even while you did not  actually stayed in that space for even a few minutes and their notice is not clearly visible   .Legally a grace period should be given which  was not given in my case and company tried to show this by entering wrong time of incident on the parking charge notice  of 11.10.Clearly predatory tactics were used by the attendant and company to incur these charges 

.Thats why i request  isa  to kindly revoke the pcn on these solid grounds

Never admit to being the drive unless you have a residential space.or it is a double dip.

Have you read the newbies?  Have you complained to the landowner?  Have you complained to your MP?
