£5.66 interest for February so far.

Just been offered the opportunity to stooze. It'll only be pennies compared to some of the savers on here but would treble my monthly interest.

#22 reporting a healthy £2181.96 saved for January and form updated. My wife received her £720 "tax bonus" to her SIPP in January, so that boosted the figure nicely, but we potentially face some big dental bills in the coming months (although my wife is wavering on going through with it all now, so we will see).

  • Hi SF, can I please in for this year? I was in for last year and was aunable to reach my target. Coming in with a totally different level of mentality and motivation for 2020 as we are looking to put down a deposit for a house in 2021!
Target for this year is £15,000 and happy to report January savings of £2,322; so a good start I think!:j:j
We are also expecting our precious little one in May of this year (our first baby) so me going on maternity leave for a good part of the year might pose some uncertainties during the year, though we have accounted for all misc expenses in the budget so we still determined to his our target by end of year regardless. I have also set a reminder in my calendar to come on here end of every month and update the spreadsheet for my numbers so I stay consistent (one of my goals!).
Good luck to everyone saving this year!

    Some amazing savings already!
I’m being very cautious and I could see myself slipping into old patterns (‘go without’). I have lost a lot of weight in the past few months and I really needed some clothes, so I splashed out (£50).
But I should be in track for this month :)

    Hi all,

Im here to declare my first payment for January of £250, (which is one of the last payments on a regular saver that is due to end in April)

Not as much as normally saved but I have been medically retired now due to ill health so money is tight, (think Universal Credit shambles)

Hope to be able to increase this amount for February when my employer sends me my outstanding holiday payment and wages
