Well done everyone! I've seen some amazing efforts here. I've saved £300 in January despite it being one of the most expensive months in the year for me. MOT, Birthdays, tax bill, and that dreaded post xmas credit card bill always seem to wipe me out. Still, credit card is cleared, tax bill paid, and I have made it through.Wins to date:

In the spirit of paying myself first, here's my update for February.
DD JISA - £100
DS JISA - £100
Sharesave Scheme - £220
Sharematch Scheme - £30
Personal ISA - £118
February total - £568
2020 total - £1,237
Target is £10k. I have some catching up to do!0 -
#31 here. I also pay myself first so February’s form now submitted with a total monthly amount of £9,200 that has been diverted to a couple of regular saving accounts, S&S ISA and personal pension. This is likely to drop in the coming months as currently building a war chest to cover some fairly substantial house renovations (based on obtaining the required approvals). Thanks,0

#25 reporting in for January. Form submitted. I managed to add £184 to my pot, it was about as much as I was expecting as I had a couple of large bills to pay. I should be able to save more next month, though I do have home insurance to pay.Save £12k in 2023 #17: £19,085/£24,000 (79%)

#78 checking-in:
As at 31/01 the total is 8450 of my 70k target.
A good start, but I’m due to pay a C15k tax bill in the next few weeks, and recoup from that going forward.
Need to aim for an average of 7k for the remaining 11 months; comprising (hopefully) around 5k savings and 2k retirement funding to hit the goal.
Well done everyone, and thanks SF for your time with this..0 -
