following a recc by a DFW. I recon its cheaper than IAMS too! One of my cats has dandrus which has always worried me! I emailed them & they sent me samples which my fussy madams loved and they were decent samples too! I just emailed a request to the contact me on the site...! Managed to get it locally (they send you a list of retailers) and am also supporting my independent pet shop by doing so which is always a good thing! I also have felt quite uncomfortable about some of the stuff I've heard about Iams in terms of animal testing etc...not sure if that helps! Cats wont like the fact that the food is in strict ammounts though but I havent told them that yet and they cant read thankfully!!!
Oh sounds great & love the "easy tiger" comment. Great that you're debtbusting as a couple!
Cheers hon,
We went for the IAMS cos our vet recommended it - but I've had abit of a read around and they are well dodgy aren't they???
I've saved the Burns link and we'll try it out. Mulder's an old moggie and he started being sick all the time so we're careful what we feed him these days.
Well mostly - he's just had sausages for breakfast!
(I know he's a bit spoiled - but he's an old geezer and he's got to survive at least until after DD's GCSES!)
Did you see this? It's totally the kind of thing I'd end up doing.

esthomizzy wrote: »Wow Jacks that's fantastic what you've achieved so far. Give yourself a big pat on the back. I'm sure you've already left no stone unturned in your quest for extra income but I just thought I'd mention that this month for the first time I had a temporary lodger (you are allowed rent a room money of up to about 4k and a bit tax free). I work at a university so a friend of mine in another dept mentioned that they had a visiting professor coming for 6 weeks who needed somewhere to stay. We are half way through the 6 weeks and it's gone fine so far as he's a professional and he's been very polite and no trouble at all. Best of all the same friend says that since this has worked out so well if any other people are in the same boat they'll come straight to me again. This time I had to repay the credit card I ran up going on holiday (I know not very MSE but at least it's paid off now) but next time straight off the mortgage (or I might invest it to ultimately pay some off the mortgage later). Of course if you have no spare room at the moment then this wont be for you but I thought I'd mention it anyway just in case.
Regarding the lost threads I don't know if you've tried searching for posts by yourself? that's how I usually find posts I care about (because I've probably posted in them).
Good luck
:hello: Thanks honey,
I remember you saying you were going to do that. I'm glad it's worked out so well for you.
I could probably manage to remember not to walk around the house in just my pants for a a short timeso if we had a spare room having a short term lodger could work for us.
Maybe my eldest will move out???
Cheers sweetie!

Anytime hypno, anytime!Breakfast is the only meal I'm really good at!
So definitely come round for brekkie!
My family are spoiled the lot of 'em! (and we couldn't leave the cat out as he does the "puppy dog eyes" routine and we all feel guilty.)
We've got my daughter's parent teacher meeting in about an hour so as everyone's had to get up a little earlier I thought it would be nice to have brekkie togather.
Although just to dispel the cosy image - we all had to eat on work tops and knees cos the table is covered in eBay stuff! I bought a massive roll of bubble wrap and I haven't a clue where else to put it! :rotfl:

Ooh, that sounds just like my dining room - we have to eat on laps etc too at the moment, although I am hoping that I can soon reclaim that room again, so we can eat around the table
Good luck at parent teacher thingy - I have a tutorial at 9 so also need to get myself sorted........in a bitSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

I don't think I got that email but as it happens I'm off today so I'm going to list like a maniac.
I may have to close the MSE window though as it's proving very distracting so far!

I'll have to do a 'workshop' in the new year and get more people into it. It's ridiculously easy money.
