Hey Jacks, glad the new job is going well. My ebay days have sadly come to an end now:rolleyes: so I'm going to have to work hard at getting my target now. Never mind, where there's a will and all of that.

You're going great guns there, your kids are so sweet. Mine all want the entire electrical department at John Lewis, oh and throw in the beauy section and we might cover half of their list :rotfl: I know I've always taught them to aim high, but I didn't mean where my wallet was concerned.

    Oh bless!

Traditionally my son is a real "If you don't ask you don't get" type so his Christmas list usually adds up to between £3-6K!

Then we cherry pick a couple of bits. He did consciously scale down his demands this year though. (Just as well! )

My daughter can never think of many things she wants though. (Not like her mother;) !)

Are eBay still being a pain then? Nightmare.

I just had a little reality check. I paid off another £400 off the debt and worked out that I needed to change my sig by 0.125 of a %.

 Well blimey. I am a sobering object lesson in how fast you can backslide given the right (wrong! ) circumstances. :o

It didn't take many days of working day and night before I'm buying ready meals and sugar laden treats "to get me through" and ordering in pizza cos I can't be @r$ed to cook on my night off even though there are plenty of store cupboard basics in the kitchen and it wouldn't have taken too much time or imagination. (Call myself an "Old Styler!" Pah! )

And I took a taxi to job number two one night cos that meant I could have a cup of tea and a sit down for 45 minutes instead of going straight back out and getting on a bus. :o

Now I'm not too grumpy about it all, but it is a bit scary how quickly a moderately fast paced lifestyle gets to me. I feel that I haven't got time to scratch my bum - let alone think straight about what to cook for tea or post a response to someones SOA!

I've got to learn the moves to a Girls Aloud song we're singing next week with a couple of "special" regulars who have booked the whole place out for their company Christmas do.

Now it's not that I mind wiggling my not inconsiderable @r$e to Sound of The Underground whilst singing "back up" for these two ladies - but it's just another thing to think about.

They must spend a lot of money over the course of the year as we're getting a mike & stand each and some kind of "sound guy" -just for one song - just to keep them happy.

Although me and The Leggy Italian Lovely have been talking about making a bit more use of them since we've got them but we'll have to see if there's time to sort anything out - and then get weirdo piano guy to cooperate.

How's it going for you Toto? I was a bit scared (but pleased :D ) to see that you're up to 20% or something already.

I saw Irwin "Hoosier" on Buzzcocks this week. He came across as very charming and funny (ie sexy!) - albeit a little orange. :D

Ok so this week I have a few mystery shops booked in - food related generally which is cool, eBay - but who knows if I'll sell anything this close to Crimbo, the restaurant most nights, a few shifts at the hairdressers managing the chaos / making tea, my proper job(s) plus a home and family...
Gah. Piece of cake! :D

    Roll on payday!
