Well as ZTD says they promise to deliver to your fridge door - and my fridge is not on the pavement or my front door step!

The only thing that's stopped me ringing to clarify is that I don't want to get the fella into trouble, but I would like them to confirm whether they're s'posed to help me or not cos I find it kind of embarassing while they stand and watch me lug it into the kitchen bit by bit.

He knows what he's supposed to do - and he's not bothered by getting into trouble.

Tesco and Asda always leave at my back door and I lift it in.

I know Ocado (Waitrose) used to advertise that they brought the delivery into the kitchen.

That’s not something you’ve ever done in the shower yourself then hon…? :D;):p

Certainly not - that's a job for the ladies... ;)

Though I'd certainly have something to say if it came off in their hand.

The bra thing - invest in a god bra

So what does a God bra do? Is it one that parts the waves? Or is it one that tries to ascend to heaven?

Inquiring minds need to know... ;)

  • well Mr Enquiring mind from in the dutch mountains!! Bras do all sorts - some "part the waves" for every day wear while others give more of a "hello BOYS" effect. - think more night out..problem with the latter is that should you ever be in a situation when blokie gets to take said bra off (nevr in my case :() he will usually be in for a shock as the appendages hit the floor, his chin & other parts of the anatomy along with it no doubt!!! PMSL!!

Jacks hope you had a better day today & good on your granny - sounds like mine - granny with attitude & while not wearing a purple hat would if it wasnt so tatestless. I did inherit her love of gin though & thus the emerald ring to perfectly match the hue of a bottle of Gordons gin...she'll be smiling down at me but I wish she was here for big hugs rather than up there. I mss her more than words could ever express so cherish yours every day you have her. While it may be a hassle visiting I promise you when she's gone you'll be so pleased you did. The world is a little less bright since mine went to drink gin in the sky...although we had a pact - whoever goes first will wait for the other at the pearly gates with a string G&T in hand!
Did you watch tonights CDWM (come dine with me for the uninitiated!)? I mean what was the woman on! I think she lives close to me & I'm sorely tempted to go and have a word!! Moaning on the last night that they were talking about food! !!!!!! - ITS A COOKERY PROGRAMME!!!!!!!!!!! I'd love to be on it but my wee flat is too smal & the kitchen so tiny they'd never be able to film:( seriously one of my future ambitions though!!

    a string G&T in hand!

How to keep an idiot busy for 5 mins - I've been trying to work out what that meant (as a seasoned G&T drinker) then realised you probably just meant strong - doh! I've been working my way through various brands in my head and now I want a G&T but that's got to be more slimming than chocolate...:rotfl:
