    Hey lovelies!

I’ve started my new MC job and it’s fun, the late nights coupled with early mornings are a bit of a struggle some days though.;)

Getting all dolled up as if *I’m* going to a party even though I’m just going to work is pretty fun too – although I get the bus in to work at about 6pm which can cause a little bit of stir if I’ve gone all out on the spangles! :D (Yeah – whatever. I just grin at the commuters. :D )

I’ve had to buy some flat beaded ballet pumps because at about the 4.5 hour mark my feet are screaming at me to rip the heels off and I’ve got at least another 1.5 hours and the hokey cokey to get through yet! :D

My sales on eBay are not going as well as I’d hoped, :( (£132.82 this week) so I’m just going to have to work a bit harder to hit my targets.

And we’ve got to buy a new car…

Somebody drove into Hubby a few weeks ago on his way to work and totalled our old heap (Hubby wasn’t hurt.) and the most I’ve been able to get out of the insurance company so far is £650 (Their opening offer was £300 though so I feel somewhat hard-!!!. )

The selection of cars available for that kind of money defy the term “old heap” though!

At least ours was a reliable old heap with all its doors, new tyres and an MOT - and it worked!

Some of the rustbuckets we’ve looked at have been in worse nick than our car now that it’s been written off! :D

So we’ve made the usual £1200 or so debt payment and I’m holding off on making any more payments until we know what’s happening about the car.

Plus it’s Christmas…and it’s nice to have a bit of extra dosh floating about just in case huh?

I’ve bought some Christmas food and drink, but I’m holding off on doing the big shop until the hamper I won comes cos I don’t really know what’s in it - and I don’t want to buy anything I don’t have to.

(Fingers crossed that it has food in it and not just chutney and port!)

DD says she doesn’t really want anything for Christmas…she never asks for much bless her. She did mention getting a PAYG sim for her old phone that she can keep topped up out of her pocket money. (Bless!)

I made her sit down and write out a proper Christmas List and she put new school trousers, a school bag, a mini brolly and body spray on it!

I’m feeling that I may have indoctrinated her into the ways of MSE a bit too much...

It makes me want to want to cry - she’s being far too sensible…

I’m going to take her shopping with this weeks eBay takings I think – and make her buy something extremely frivolous!

The rest of us aren't much better...

    Hubby’s asked for a shed!

My son has asked for new trainers, a Cool Max T shirt for playing footie in, new headphones and an electric razor.

And my list is a new hairdryer, a casserole dish, Animal Vegetable Miracle, Haribo tangfastics and Touche Eclat.

We’ve become a bit TOO utilitarian I think!
