I'm trying to motivate myself to ebay some of my junk, sorry, ahem, old treasures but keep getting sidetracked!
OOh I know!
I quite like eBay - well apart from the fact that they've been stupidly mean to our Toto lately! It's the pennies I like I guess, but I don't mind doing it really.
The Hubster feels so bad about me spending every spare moment trying to earn money that either he takes the kids out to give me a bit of peace so that I can concentrate - or he keeps me supplied with cups of tea, and he does things like run the hoover round upstairs and throw a wash on to help me out. (and why not?!)
He's done both of those things and done a top up shop at Tesco for me as well today so I shouldn't moan should I?
But I'm bored of eBay now.
I've been doing it since about 9:30 and I wanna do something (anything) else!
I might go and have a bath and wash my hair and stuff and come back to it refreshed in a bit, but we're going to MIL's at 5pm so I haven't got many hours left to do it in.
I've done 17 so 3 to go...
*sigh*
(See ISOM - I'm moaning already!)

Wow Jacks your hubby sounds marvellous. My OH has little patience for my attempts at moneysaving even though my circumstances are mostly about 80% nothing I can do anything about (the other 20% is me being anal I think). To be fair it could be that 20% he gets frustrated with I guess.MFi3 member 105 - MFW date Oct 2023 - 12 years 9 months more0

Oh thank you sweetie!
It's really nice of you to post and say so - especially when I've been so self absorbed the past few days and hardly posted on anyone else's thread!
I probably should mention that if you lovely lot are this kind to me at my time of the month when I'm a hormonal timebombI'll probably get all tearful and write extremely long extremely incoherent rambling replies!
So we'll look forward to that shall we?
I'm definitely going for a bath - my brain has gone.
Cheers Blondie!

 I wish I'd been a little more anal honey.
(It's not every day I get to say that!)
We were too easy going, too "it'll sort itself out" too "everyone's got a bit of debt" for too long.
I wish I'd got a grip sooner, but I'm such an all or nothing kind of girl. I couldn't just cut back a little bit.
Either I am spending like it's going out of fashion - or I'm debtbusting like my life depends on it.
There's no middle ground with me!
My family know me well, and they know when to help, and when to get out of my way.
Hubby calls me "Force to be reckoned with" when I get "on one"
After this...When we are debt free (Ooh, that sounds good!) We're going to have to find a balance.
I think that can be the hard part - and I think it might be for us.
It's probably the same for you guys - it's all about compromises and balance. We all have different attitudes to money that we don't even know we've got really so I think there's a lot more to sharing your finances with someone than than opening a joint account isn't there?
I know my hubby hates feeling like he's in the wrong so I try not to make him feel that way if I can help it and instead I'm really appreciative when he helps me.
(It's working so far! )

Guess who hasn't gone yet?
I decided I'd enjoy the bath much more if I actually got this job finished first - so I'm still at it.
One more to go though then bathtime for me!
