  • Good morning! It’s Sunday and I had an actual lay in - I didn’t wake up until 8:30am which is unheard of for me! I must’ve needed it. I feel great 😊

Still no mortgage offer 🙄 hopefully I’ll get it tomorrow. Hopefully tomorrow will also be the day that Boris gives us much more freedom! 😬 I want the girls to go back to school and I want to be able to meet up with people outside my support bubble. Anything else is a bonus.

Yesterday I did quite a big food shop. I seemed to have run out of everything at the same time, like washing up liquid, tin foil etc. Always the way! I’m eating much more healthily now so I bought lots of nice good food, which also bumped up the cost lol. Worth it though. I’m not trying to lose weight really as I’m happy with what the scales say, but I do want to tone up, so I’ve been doing some home exercises and as a result my thighs and tummy are hurting a lot this morning 😂 I need to measure my body fat percentage as that’s what I’m mostly interested in.

Right, time to get myself ready for the day! I have a nice day planned, I hope you all do too 💜 xxx
  • Good for you with the fitness goals! I do YT videos every day and they are good, although now the weather is turning nice I do want to start to do some laps around the park at lunchtime. Have you checked out the Sydney Cummings channel? Strewth she will kick anyone's butt!

  • Yes I am using YouTube videos too! I’ll look out for that channel! I’m having a rest day today though as I’m in quite a bit of pain 😂😂

I just thought I’d hop on here quickly before I start work to update you all on my love life 😁 lol. Yesterday I went for a walk with SOMEONE OF THE OPPOSITE SEX! 🙊🙊🙊🙊🙊🙊 We have some mutual friends and he asked if I fancied going to a country park with him, so I agreed and met him there. He bought us coffees and we spent about 2 hours chatting and getting to know each other. I do find him attractive, and he’s very easy to talk to. So far there are absolutely no red flags which is sooooo so nice! He actually seems normal! And he’s a parent too, so he understands what having children involves.

I would like to see him again and from reading his text messages last night, I think he wants to see me again too 😊 Let’s hope Boris allows us to do something other than go for walks/exercising with one other household eh?! 😂😂😂

Also he knows I have a sweet tooth so he brought some sugary treats with him, which I thought was cute. And he walked me back to my car as it was parked far away and wouldn’t let me walk on my own 🙂
  • Wooohoooooo!! Finding a bloke who isn’t a complete Wally is like the holy grail! Fingers crossed 🤞🏻

  • Yeh I mean don’t get me wrong, I’m happy being single and if it goes nowhere I’m not going to be one bit upset about it because I’m loving the freedom lol, but it was nice getting to know him yesterday, and he was a gentleman which was refreshing 😊
  • Good morning!

Well, Boris certainly put a big smile on my face yesterday! 😀 He has given us the road map out of lockdown, and whilst I would’ve liked some of it brought forward a bit, I’m happy. To think that we will have total freedom by June is exciting! And I may be in my new house by then too! 🥳🥳🥳

Yesterday was also very positive because I had an appointment with a lovely lady after being referred to her by my GP last year. I’ve been referred to a psychiatrist for an official diagnosis of this neurological disorder, but that won’t happen until next year due to the long waiting list. The lady I spoke to yesterday believes I do have this disorder, but wasn’t qualified to diagnose me. My mum doesn’t really understand it and I don’t think she even believes in it, which is a little upsetting in all honesty, but I’m not going to discuss it with her any more. My friends have been supportive. It definitely explains why I am the way I am 🙃 I need to get the ball rolling for DD2 now. She’s nearly 6 and to me it’s obvious that she has it. Her father isn’t convinced but he’s very old school. I said if she has got it then a diagnosis is important, as then she will get extra support in school, and even extra exam time & things like that which is obviously a good thing?!

I need to start work now. And the home school starts in an hour 🤯🤯 roll on 8th March!!! 😂
  • So it’s likely that the stamp duty will be scrapped until the end of June 😀 if true, it’ll save me £900.00 and I’ll definitely be able to increase my deposit enough to go into the next LTV bracket, meaning I’ll be paying less interest 🥳

I chased the mortgage lender up yesterday but after hearing this news I may aswell wait until the chancellor’s budget has been announced before I chase them again, as I’m going to have to amend everything anyway. Also my tax credits is going to increase by quite a lot in the new tax year, so I could use those new figures instead as the tax award tells me what I’m going to be receiving 🙂
  • That's great news.

  • I have a telephone appointment booked in with the mortgage broker for 12th March - that was the earliest they could do! Just goes to show what the housing market is like right now 😬

My conveyancers said the delay in the mortgage offer shouldn’t delay the process overall, so fingers crossed it doesn’t 🤞🏼 They also said that they’re still waiting for the management company pack and enquiries will be raised once they have checked the legal title. I just hope we can meet the 30th June deadline 🙏🏼
  • Hey! Happy Friday! 🥳

Today is pay day and I got a bit extra thanks to my tax code changing 😁 £30.00 to be exact! Which will go towards all the gifts I need to buy for family members next month 🤦🏼‍♀️ March is very busy! Not paying council tax will also help 😊

Work is giving me a headache today so I’ve decided to take a proper lunch break and step away from my laptop. I’ve got a lovely chicken, broccoli and almond salad 😋 and a latte from the fridge 😍 The weather is so beautiful right now so after I’ve eaten I’m going to go for a quick walk & get some much needed vitamin D!

The guy I met last weekend has asked me out for a 2nd date 😀 I’m not sure what the plan is yet, but just to have him ask me is a real confidence boost! In saying that, I’ve been really looking after myself recently by taking the time to exercise more, eat healthier, improve my skincare routine and finding other ways to relax besides scrolling on social media and it’s really making a difference to my confidence and my mood. So I won’t give him all the credit 😉 He’s putting a smile on my face though that’s for sure.

Have a lovely weekend everyone! 😊
