Good morning! Thank you for all of your comments 😃 It’s been a great week. I’ve been so busy but in a good way! I’m going to be given more tasks from next week which is fine with me. They said I must let them know when I reach my limit on the workload, as there are going to be more acquisitions which will mean more recruitment if needed. Unlike the last place they don’t seem scared to recruit!

My tax credits have gone in today. Which reminds me, I must update them with my new predicted earnings.

Have a good day everyone! Let’s hope Friday 13th doesn’t mean that it will be a terrible day 😬
  • Hello Diary! I need to start coming on here everyday. I’m spending money like it’s going out of fashion. On clothes mainly 😳😳 I have a load to return so it might not be that bad. But I need to reign it in a bit I think!

My car had its first MOT today and it passed 😊 it’s only 3.5 years old so I wasn’t expecting it to be costly.

I’m still enjoying work but oh my goodness, it’s so busy, and I have so much to learn! It’s making me so tired in the evenings. I am also waking up between 4:30am and 5am every day, which is really annoying! I’ll still stay up to watch I’m A Celebrity though 😉😂
  • Good morning! It’s Saturday and I’m laying in bed whilst the girls are in the living room playing nicely. I’ll get up soon & make their breakfast but for now I’m enjoying the relaxation & peace 😁

Work is still enjoyable. I had a quick meeting with one of my bosses yesterday, who told me off for working too many hours. She said she firmly believes in a work/life balance and doesn’t want me to burn myself out. She said if the work is too much then they’ll recruit again. The other new lady cried the other day cos she was feeling stressed out with it all which I think scared the bosses, so new training has been postponed and we are to just stick to what we know for now. New stuff will be drip fed.

There isn’t much more to report. Except I smashed my phone screen yesterday 😫 I have been contemplating getting a new one anyway but I guess now I definitely will. I could get the screen fixed but there are other issues with it. I’ll see if there are any Black Friday deals 😊

It sounds like you have good bosses there who know how to treat their staff.  Glad you are enjoying it.

    Have a good weekend!

  • I’ve neglected you all for a week! Whoops! So sorry, it’s still manic, but still enjoyable! And I got some nice feedback from one of my managers yesterday 😍

Pay day with this company is the last working day of the month, so for this month it’s in 2 days time. My bank account currently has almost a month’s wage sitting there, so I’m pleased with that. It means when I get paid I’ll have plenty which is a really nice feeling, however a lot of that may be spent next month, as I have a consultation booked with an orthodontist about getting braces fitted. It’s something I’ve been debating for years & although it’d cost a lot, a nice smile & straight teeth will boost my confidence massively. My teeth aren’t terrible & my friends think I’m mad for being so self-conscious about them but I have an overbite & part of my gums are inflamed as they slightly overlap my teeth, which can only be fixed by having braces. I’ve worked so hard this year & I won’t be borrowing the money for it, so I have justified it to myself 😂 I’m excited.

I can’t deny that I’ve already treated myself though, as I have spent an eye watering £360 on clothes & underwear this month 😱 Which is insane, but I love what I bought! Lovely new work clothes, nice weekend clothes, and underwear that doesn’t make me feel frumpy 😁

Someone is viewing my flat this afternoon so I need to do as much cleaning as I can, and I also need to pop to the Post Office to post my best friend’s birthday presents & card (she lives 128 miles away & I’ve not seen her since last December 😔😔). And then I’m going round my parents’ house for dinner. Not sure if I mentioned but they’re in our bubble - I feel like I have to say that every time I tell someone I’m seeing them 😂 People love to point fingers don’t they 🙄

I hope everyone is doing ok. I’m in a tier 2 area (thank god) so I’m hoping to go out for some meals soon! I’ve missed doing that! It may also mean date nights with my ex can commence - yes, the rollercoaster is still continuing there, but as I type this things are a lot better. Obviously there’s only so much you can do in a lockdown but communication has improved & it’s a lot more positive. It’s been a tough 6 weeks.

Have a lovely day 💜 xxx
  • Yesterday was a successful day and I managed to get all my jobs done before going to my parents’ house. It was really nice as mum was getting all the Christmas decorations down from the attic as we arrived, so the girls enjoyed nosing through them & we had Christmas songs playing which I loved! My dad has bought a new fire pit for their garden... I would love something like that one day. After we had dinner there I dropped the girls off at their dad’s & then took myself home. I was SO tired. I wrote a few work notes, watched TV, and then crashed out around 9:30pm & woke up 10 hours later 😂😂😂 I clearly needed that sleep!

Today I need to do a bit of food shopping & then me & my mum are going to go walking around a bit lake nearby with a coffee. I’m also meant to be seeing my ex this afternoon for a socially distanced “date” (but not really a date is it lol). I’m hoping on Thursday we can at least go out for a meal somewhere. Fingers crossed.
  • Congratulations on your new job PB and your new employers sound fab. Wonderful you are still doing well on the money front. Just need your flat sold now.
