Monday again! The weeks are FLYING! And I realised that in just 3 weeks time we will be 2/3s of the way through 2020 😳 Which seems unbelievable!

Yesterday was a struggle after my rubbish night’s sleep. I’ve realised that my anxiety is far far worse when I’m very tired, but thankfully OH looked after me, and I slept over 8 hours straight last night so I feel much better 🙂 Despite feeling shattered we made a trip to a local retail park as OH wants a new sofa, but he couldn’t find one he liked. We spent the rest of the day chilling & eating which is what I needed.

Before I drove to his house yesterday morning I popped into the shop where I dropped off my ASOS parcel, just to check that it had gone. The young lad who served me said he wasn’t allowed to check 🤔 What?! He wasn’t ALLOWED to check in the cupboard behind him to see if my parcel was in there?! I challenged him, and he checked in the end, and thankfully it wasn’t there. Seriously though what kind of people work in that shop?! Anyway, this morning I received an e-mail from ASOS saying they have my parcel & my refund is on its way 🥳🥳 hooray! The lesson here is send your returns via Royal Mail!

OH took a load of my change and transferred me the money, so my purse is sooooo much lighter! I still have loads left but it’s much better than what it was. He’s going to exchange it in his petty cash tin at work for notes. Not sure if I said this the other day but the remaining balance of the holiday refund came through on his credit card, so he transferred my half 😀 So all refunds have now been done! ☺️☺️ My account is looking good - I’m at the halfway point between pay days and it’s looking decent 😁 I should be able to send £750.00 towards the debt at the end of the month, but we’ll see! 😊

Hi readers! Just thought I’d jump on here during my lunch break 😊 I’m eating a very naughty meal deal bought from a supermarket. Not very MSE! And to be honest the sandwich isn’t great... I could make a better one 😂 I bought it last night, along with some other bits that will see me through until tomorrow.

I counted the remaining change in my purse this morning and it totals £9.77. There are 3 x 50ps and then the rest are 20ps and below 😩 hence why my purse weighs a tonne! Hopefully I can get rid of it soon 😊 I shouldn’t complain really should I?! First world problems & all that.

I have ordered a free trial from Hello Fresh. They’ll be delivering 3 meals next week - apparently each meal includes 3 portions so I’m looking forward to it! I doubt I’ll continue with the subscription afterwards because it’s very expensive. The pictures of the food look amazing though! Apparently I’m getting satay style beef mince & noodles, bbq chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries (and a tonne of lettuce by the looks of it!), and “porky pappardelle” which I’ve never heard of before but I’m always up for trying new things so I’ll see how I get on with it! I’ll report back with my feedback 😉

I have also ordered the rest of the girls’ school uniform, apart from the shoes, so that’s all done now! I got them from Next, and I also ordered a blouse/shirt for me that I’ve had my eye on for months. The reason why I hadn’t ordered it before now is because it’s £45. Not cheap at all! But the brand (not Next) use good quality fabric and my ASOS refund is £43, so technically I’ve only spent £2. Right?! 🤣

Must get back to work before my inbox explodes 🙃🤯

I have a viewing booked in for tomorrow! 🥳 This will be the first one in 3 weeks. I was beginning to write off the idea of moving in with OH. It’s not until 4pm so I will have time to give it a good clean & make sure it looks amazing 😊 Fingers crossed... if this one is a no then I’ll give up 😞

The weather is TERRIBLE today but after the heatwave we definitely need some rain & a good thunderstorm! Yesterday was so hot & I couldn’t concentrate at all 🥵 I did however manage to put in a side biz order, and I spent some money at Boots that earned me a decent amount of advantage card points (there was an offer on). I also got cashback 😎 I won’t lie though, it was a big order, but I’m still smashing my way through the debt so I didn’t mind treating myself 😆😉

I have everything crossed for the viewing PB, but please don’t give up if this doesn’t come to anything. It will happen, the housing market is picking up speed every day. Have they included the fact that there’s no chain within your listing? It will be a big draw to some people.

Thanks MeandO. I expected some feedback yesterday but no-one called. I’m assuming he’s not going to make an offer, but I should know for certain tomorrow.

This weekend has been a mixed bag. I saw my pregnant friend on Friday, and she brought her daughter too so the girls all played nicely. Unfortunately that night I was up with food poisoning 😟 I had bought a hoisen duck wrap from Tesco when I was doing a food shop as I was having a busy day & I thought it would save me time... big mistake! I didn’t even enjoy it. So yesterday was a complete write off. Thankfully today has been nice - I’ve spent it with OH and we’ve had a lovely day relaxing, watching TV & eating good food 🥰

Tonight I’m going to have a pamper sesh & call my friend for a catch up. I like to apply a nice face mask on Sunday evenings, makes me feel more ready to face the week if I have soft, exfoliated skin 😊

Finally received some feedback from the Estate Agent. And it’s not bad news! The buyer is interested, but he has 2 other properties to view this week. So I’ll hopefully know the outcome by Friday. He’s a cash buyer, and an investor, so if he does put in an offer I hope it’s not super cheeky! Fingers crossed.

i had a few friends round last night & it was just lovely. I did some pizzas, garlic bread, sausage rolls and other “picky” food and we just sat & chatted for hours 😍 my favourite type of evenings! I got into bed at around 10:30pm & slept pretty much straight away, & didn’t wake up until my alarm went off which is very unlike me! I feel great!

I need to get into the shower now for work. I only have about 2.5 more weeks of working from home & then I think I’ll be summoned back to the office! 😭

Evening all! I am in bed already as I am SHATTERED! Today has been verrryyyy busy. Not only was work manic, but I also had an eyebrow wax & tint appointment & I had to do a food shop after work. Plus I delivered some side biz orders 😅

Speaking of which... I’m knocking this particular side biz on the head as I’m about to join another one that I prefer (and one that I should’ve just done before!). As a result I’ve been selling my starter kit stock to some of my friends, and the money more than paid for my brow appointment and food shop! I enjoyed representing this company, but the other one has my heart ❤️

Last night OH came over & we cooked one of my Hello Fresh meals together. I enjoyed the actual cooking more than eating the food - & that’s saying something! As we all know I hate cooking! 😂 The food was okkkk but I was a little bit disappointed if I’m honest. Still, it was free! And cooking with OH was fun 😍

My mum is returning home in just 4 days time! I’m so excited to see her. I ordered her a very special present the other day for her birthday - it’s a drawing of her with her late mum and my girls who her mum never got to meet. DD1 has her mum’s name as her middle name ☺️❤️ I hope it turns out ok! It wasn’t cheap so I’ll be gutted if it doesn’t look good 😬

I am having internet connection issues & I can’t work, so while my laptop tries to log me back on I thought I’d come on here! Hope it sorts itself out soon as I have a lot to do 🤯

I have sold a pair of DD2’s boots on FB for £10. A woman who I used to go to school with wants them for her daughter, but she doesn’t live locally so I need to deliver them to her sister’s house tomorrow. Apparently she’s going to give me the cash when I deliver them.

I’m also due to go round a friend’s house tomorrow/this weekend as she has a pair of Clarks school shoes that have hardly been worn, and they may fit DD2. She wants £10 for them, so I’ll give her the £10 note that I’ll receive tomorrow if they fit 😀

I’ve been awake since 4:45am and the coffee is doing absolutely nothing 🙈 Luckily the girls are playing nicely which is making life easier. Despite the tiredness, I’ve caught up on my washing & cleaned the kitchen floor as well as working so at least I’m being productive I suppose! Just need the internet to stop cutting out now 🙄

Good morning all! 😃

I’ll start off by saying the rest of yesterday was terrible 🙈 I won’t go into it all as I don’t want to be all negative but it was just one of those days that needed to be written off ASAP! 😟

OH came over after work which was nice. Before he arrived I got out all the ingredients for our 2nd Hello Fresh meal. One being diced chicken thigh. Well, the moment I opened it I could smell egg 🤢 I checked the date and it had an expiry date of today (so one day to go) so it should’ve been fine. I didn’t want to risk it, I’m a bit funny about chicken at the best of times! OH bought some more from the local shop, and some bread for me as I needed some, bless him. The meal was ok - I preferred it to the first one we tried, but I still don’t think it’s worth the money had I paid for it!

I am hoping I hear back from the Estate Agent today with the investor’s final decision. Keeping everything crossed! 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

Also today I need to deliver DD2’s boots, collect the school shoes (if they fit DD2), and visit my friend’s baby FINALLY! 🥰 I can’t wait to see the little munchkin! This afternoon we are seeing OH as he has the day off work but I’m not sure what we are doing. I was hoping to go to a local big park but the weather doesn’t look great 😭
