@colsten - seems odd that they have removed the Classic and not the Plus account.
I am guessing but it was probably the most cost-effective way for TSB to stop the flood of Classic applications, and most customers would probably prefer the Classic Plus anyway. The number of [new] Classic Plus accounts per person has been strictly controlled for quite some time now.
Interesting I've read on this forum of people having more then one sole TSB Plus account.
We They will have opened them before quite some time ago then! ;)

There used to be no limit to how many you could apply for.

There has always been a limit on Plus accounts. However you used to be able to upgrade a Classic to Plus and the IT didn't limit it. You still could if the accounts weren't merged. The system will let you apply for more Plus accounts as it doesn't link it to your existing accounts until later on and sometimes doesn't link them at all. Whether TSB would allow the applications to remain is unknown.

Interesting my TSB account opened in April 2020, now says claim sent to retailer. They must send claims in batches. I also note they have removed the TSB Current Account cashback offer from Quidco.
Did your cashback not track or something?

I had to raise a manual claim. Still no estimated payout date though.

First account opened around 27th October - Non tracking claim - still at claim status with no apparent updates
Second Account tracked 4th December - Status Update: 06 Apr 20

4th December account opening just gone payable  :)

My 8th December one just paid out too. Last update was 6th April.
My 1st December one still just tracked.....last update was 15 May. Not sure why they aren’t just paying out in order!

finally got through to a human, hopefully they resolve my claim now from november
if anyone has one with no estimated payment date I would advise you don't bother raising claims as you just get automated responses from a machine that doesn't realise what the problem is. request a callback and speak to someone they will sort it out
