My DH is also still waiting, after the inital round of declines. He made £500 in and out transactions each month and continues to do so.

I strongly suspect that they are not including £500 in as one if the necessary 2 transactions as it's a separate condition. Whether they are including anything extra paid in as a separate transaction as a qualifying transaction is unclear. But the truth is the terms are vague and open to several interpretations and it's all a bit of a mess.

E.g. is an interest credit transaction counted? If it's not a transaction, why's it listed under 'transactions'?

The T&Cs are quite clear in that regard - "you pay in at least £500 each month and make two transactions per month". Interest payments aren't transactions you make.

It could easily be argued that you did make/generate an interest transaction by meeting the requirements for interest. This is all semantics.
    Synonyms for 'make' include 'generate':

    They mean the same thing.

Very easy to meet the t&c to qualify for the cashback after opening this account tracked through Quidco.
£250 in £250 out £250 in £250 out each calendar month for three but make it four or every month so tsb can’t become stupid/trip you up.
Opt for paperless statements and correspondence.
    Done.
    £50.

And then they could say the (at least) £500 pay in had to be in a single transaction. When you have such unclear vague terms it could go on and on.

To me, in addition to the paperless requirement, they should be checking 2 things for each relevant month (and it's far from clear even what the relevant months are):
    1. Has at least £500 in total gone in to the account?
    2. Looking at the list of transactions are there at least 2 listed?

If the answer to each of the above is yes, then confirm cashback.

All I can say is I did all the above as detailed in my post as well as shuffling the funds within tsb internet banking and got paid out on several accounts so it worked for me!

As for the relevant months I funded and transacted for six months until paid just to rule out any tsb excuse to not pay out.

£500+ total per month funding as long as reached £500 with any number of transfers or deposits made no difference, I still got paid.

Did you do exactly 2 transactions (such as £250 in and £250 in again) on any?

Yes on several so I would just daisy chain £250 twice through the accounts to meet both the £500 fund (2x£250) and two transactions condition and it was £250 already in a classic plus account.
I don’t look for problems where they don’t exist!

You made 4 transactions then, not exactly 2.

    1st transaction: £250 out
    2nd transaction: £250 in
    3rd transaction: £250 out
    4th transaction: £250 in

You made 4 transactions and paid in at least £500.

But someone who just did £500 out and £500 in did 2 transactions and paid in at least £500, but isn't getting paid out.

The terms don't say: pay in at least £500 and make 2 other transactions.
