UKCPS - “No Stopping” Parking Charge

Hi all, after taking advice on here and sending the template reply to UKCPS I have just this morning received final notice letters. Bearing in mind the alleged ‘parking violation’ was in November 2019.
Unless somebody advises otherwise I have no intention of paying and will wait for the courts to hear this one. Has anybody been to court yet? And if there is any new advice I’m listening
Many thanks

@TinaMichael - UKCPS have issued hardly any court claims in the past 2-3 years (they were more litigious prior), so I wouldn't expect anything much to change. Just keep an eye out for any court-related paperwork, which you shouldn't ignore. Please start your own thread if you want help with your own case. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I would suggest that all members with an actual court claim should start their own new thread for bespoke advice , leaving this one for all the debatable prelim stuff and general discussions , seeing as ukcps probably have nothing else to do but tease out old cases and send frighteners out for this sc@m site3

Yes, if people get a claim, then start your own threads but otherwise you should all be complaining to the local MP, the DVLA and the ICO (and the local press) about the unlawful camera surveillance in an entrapment zone that was not signed properly at all.
And to compare notes on that, stay on this thread and help each other by pm.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

A couple of things, I don't know if it's of any relevance but I noticed on the final notice I was sent that the BPA logo has now been removed from the foot of the letter.
I also have images of the location taken on 21/12/19 showing the signage at the location if helpful.1 -
Hello, I also received a final notice letter for £130. Can you please tell me what is the worst case scenario? If it goes to debt collectors can they add further charges (fine has already more than doubled)? If I lose a court case will I be liable to pay these including court fees? What is the maximum I may be liable to pay under this scenario? Thanks

£100 - original parking charge
£25 - court filing fee
£25 - hearing fee, if it gets that far
£7 or £8 interest.
£50 - solicitor costs for preparing case papers (maximum, capped) - where applicable
So not much more than £200 - IF YOU LOSE!
Anything else they try to add will be spurious and must be challenged with the Judge.
IF YOU WIN - none of the above will be payable by you. But you could claim:
£95 capped maximum for loss of earnings/annual leave for half a day (take pay slips for proof)
Travel costs - public transport or mileage x 45p per mile
Parking costs.
If the PPC has been wholly unreasonable in dealing with the court, then costs awarded against them could be considerably more, but the bar is set very high. We would advise nearer the time if we think this is worth you pursuing.

Given that they have added unlawful amounts the chances of them winning are decreasing daily asb we see that more and more judges are throwing out inflated claims. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.2
