Not much going on at the moment, mainly rest and work as I'm very tired, not helped by OH's very early starts for work.

Today I went to the butcher's, picked up a joint of lamb, some steak and bits for OH.
I've also been pottering around the garden and OH came home with more tubs for me to plant in.

Tomorrow I will be moving the peppers around in the greenhouse as the tomatoes have overtaken the far end of it. I can't tend to the peppers where they are.
Need to take one pole out, drag the pepper grow bag out, put the pole back in, take another pole out, drag the peppers to their new place and put the pole back in.

I'm currently growing a new celery and new onion from trimmings.
Wasn't any seeds in the oranges I had for breakfast, maybe the next lot will unless OH picked up seedless ones 🙈

Having roast chicken with herbs, tiny roast beetroot and giant roasted radishes.

Glad you are resting. The lamb sounds delish I am glad you went for a walk. Good luck with the peppers, celery and onion. I am just grateful I might have some tomatoes.

Sounds like you need a good feed and rest to recharge, hope you allow yourself time to do that, and take care of yourself... :)

I've already told him he is helping (doing most of it) and said what needs to be done 😁 @Skint_yet_Again

No, I'm in no rush to try them again, will stick with picked, washed and munched, but tempted to make a 'slaw with it and white cabbage, that would work 🤗

I'm under orders to start planning what I want done / planted where next year, to read up and learn as apparently the whole garden is mine, OH merely does the hardwork 😳😳

I love radishes but had no idea they could be roasted or what that would taste like. lol:D I cannot believe you are planning your garden already I have lived here for 13 years and am barely planning my garden now!!!! It's great that your OH is giving the garden to you and offering his labour. Does he have a man shed? My friend's husband does, it's where he disappears to. lol.

There are recipes online for them, but I doubt I will try any 🤫

The garden is mainly food growing, with a few flowers / roses for colour and to encourage bees. All I need to do is decide what veg / fruit I'm growing and where. Each year the veg will then move to the next segment in the garden.

No man-cave, but he does have the coal shed. It's not his kind of thing as he likes getting stuck in, chopping, lifting and shifting. He is currently designing a second compost bin. I'm still looking into proper greenhouses.

Just had a chat and we are both tending to all the garden, phew.

OH has raked up all the grass he strimmed the other day and that's in the compost bin and rearranged my peppers. I potted up my last two fuchsias.

    Having roast lamb tonight.

    Hey Moving
For some reason your radish experiment made me think of fermenting. Maybe it would be nice in a kind of kimchi or sauerkraut, not sure I have spelled those right.... perhaps if you get a glut of things like cabbage, onion, etc. Or maybe you can pickle radishes?  Loving reading about all the progress in the garden you will be living off your veg in no time at this rate... :)
