I'm not into kimchi, my OH loves it and picked veg, he puts them in his noodles with a splash of soy sauce etc.

Next year will be very exciting with growing and being able to make different 'sides' with the meals 🤗

Because of you I have become inspired in growing food in the garden. Hurrah. It cheers me up hearing what you are doing. Have a good day.

Oh my, need to up my game with food growing of I'm inspiring you SW 😁
Started planning for next year and learned a lot from the few months l have been doing it.

OH is slowly tackling the monster tree stump, he doesn't think it will be out this year. He took another small stump out today and ordered us a compost bin today, used some of my supermarket points. Should be here in a few days.

I've just booked a haircut, got 11 days to decide what I'm having done. Did contemplate getting my eyebrows waxed, but they have loads of appointments for them.

Had sirloin steak, home grown radishes and home grown herbs for tea, followed by carrot cake.

You are inspiring me but for some reason I am just rubbish at growing this year. Well done on booking haircut. Yum to carrot cake.

For some reason I have this image of your OH disappearing into the foliage, in cammo, waving a machete to hack his way through it all.... Very Rambo style, of course!  :D

SW, you've got loads going on this year, scale back what you are growing and do it so you plant / grow a bit, leave it for a month and plant / grow a bit more. Allows you to space out when it's ready and if one lot doesn't work out you've the next batch to fall back on.

IA, you have kind of described him very well! that is what he wears and he has a very sharp big kitchen knife 😂

I think I've picked a haircut out, just have to see if it's one I can maintain myself.
I've decided to get my eyebrows waxed and will dye them myself a few days before or after, that'll keep costs down.
Will need to dye my hair before my haircut so it looks nice after both appointments 😊

Going to use some of the survey points on bedding.

My car got collected tonight, will get that back in a few days.

Haven't got much going on aside from working, watering the garden, eating the produce and watching TV (old Star Trek and whatever else takes my fancy on N3tfl1x).

£10 in the bank (have to pay £1 in advance for each appointment and moved a bit to savings).
    7 days until payday.

It's been raining all day, would have done the garden some good.

Got my car back, just need to take it back in a few weeks to get the handbrake tightened up again (free).
His team gave my car a good going over, checked all the belts, fluids etc too and said I've got a lot of life left in it.
The guy told also me about a scrap dealer just up the road and they happen to have a car same colour as mine in! Popping up tomorrow to see if they have the mirror and housing 🤗

I am getting a payrise this year, so I'm going to keep adding that to savings.
Trying to be cautious with spending until things settle down.

Had bacon and veg stew for tea.

Edit to add - ordered a couple of nice facemasks, should be here next week 🤗

Hurrah for the payrise. Glad the visit to the garage was good and mechanics were so helpful. It's going to rain here on Saturday.

I remember having a car, equivalent to a money pit, for me... Still, the convenience of shopping where and when you want, and not lugging your shopping by hand, sheer luxury.... sigh.

Great news on the pay rise, keep up the good work, you'll be mounting up those savings in no time. :)
