Just catching up it looks like you have grown even more things and have saved plenty and had a bacon sandwich and icecream. The latter two caught my attention somehow lol. Well done you!!!!Aiming for a minimal spend 20222

Thank you SYA, SH and SW.
I'm currently trying to grow mint from the a1d1 packet cut mint, got two celery ends rooting and have got 3 lemon seeds to try and grow.
Still waiting on the melon to ripen so we can eat that and I can get the seeds from it.
It's been raining all day again today, will pop out later to water the greenhouse plants.
I've been designing the layout for next year and think I've made good use of the space 🤗 would it be over ambitious if I want to be able to be veg self-sufficient next year 🤔
OH has started hacking at the monster tree stump, one trunk off, only another ?? to go. We are letting the other naturally rot down to avoid any further pressure on the stone boundary wall.
All the DDs start to come out from the 1st, then I can start moving money to savings.
I've not got much going on at the moment besides the garden, photography and saving, but am so pleased it's Friday tomorrow!

Thank you IA, SYA, SW, and SH.
Today was the biggie and my hair has now gone. It was a lot longer than I thought it was and had I left it another month or two I would have been sitting on it 😬 had my eyebrows waxed too and I'm currently waiting to see if I have a reaction to the dye they use.
Was so funny (now) but I've got very dry skin and where she put the test spot just happened to be on a dry patch, she had to quickly get that off and put it on another spot 😂
OH loves my new haircut / style and has said I can go as often as I want as he doesn't spend anything on his (buzz cut at home).
Looks like I can justify having my eyebrows / eyelashes done and a haircut every 2 months 🤗
I need to buy a curling iron to do the styling at home.
OH gave me money today, even more than last time. So I can reach my £500 savings target in August, do O/P on the mortgage and pay some more off the car bill on the CC.
So far I'm not impressed with the fresh produce from a1d1. I've composted 3 bananas, 1 lemon and the bread was only good for toast. That's what put me off before, the fresh stuff has to be used on the day even though it's well in date.
Having chicken wings tonight. They are currently roasting.

Hurrah for haircut and new eyebrows. Well done on savings target and OP on mortgage and payments on car. I don't live by any of those supermarkets so it was interesting to hear about the fruit from them.Aiming for a minimal spend 20222
