The ice cream were from a1d1, imagine a c0rn3t0 but with a white f1ake in it 😁

Haven't tried the rose ones but have seen them in my local shop!

We do release our inner kiddy side when it comes to treats, can't be an adult all the time. We've had dinosaur ice cream, animal chocolate etc 🤭

I followed your example and had raspberry ripple ice cream with squirty cream and raspberries, mango and strawberry. Very tasty.

    That sounds delightful SH!

I've had a 'lady that lunches' pamper day:
Coloured my hair in readiness for half of it to be cut off Friday. Only did the roots and a lowlight effect with the spare; used 1/3 of a packet.
Used a face mask mask, which was a first but I've ended up ordering some (£5). So much easier to slap a mask on rather than messing with creams / clay and waiting for them to dry before removing.
Painted my nails a pale metallic lilac colour.
Sat with the sun on my neck / shoulders in my lounge.
Drank lemonade with mint, very nice and from a1d1. I've one glass left.
-- Will buy real lemons and fresh mint, squeeze the lemon into water, add a slice of lemon, sprig of mint and sip frequently.

Almost feel like a normal person today, not physically, but as if I've been able to recharge a little.

Had a bacon and cheese sandwich for brunch.

Having pizza for tea when OH gets home later.

£5 in the bank, 2 days until payday.
-- OH paid for the a1d1 shopping yesterday.

    Plans for August:
    -- haircut (£26)
    -- eyebrow wax (£9) 🙈
-- buy hair dye, nail varnish (£10)

I'm thinking a monthly 'treat' of it 🤗

Had yoghurt and chocolate for pudding, watching another Bond film and still need to water the garden!

Payday and final reconciliation of my books for July!

    Savings
An impressive £628.95 has gone into savings this month and the balances are going in the right direction. I know it's a little cheat with some going in on the day I get paid, but I do run my accounts per calendar month.

This is how everything is looking for July:
    Communal Fund £551.47
    Emergency Fund £534.49
    Home Repairs £255.40
    Interior, Garden and Modernising £149.66
Car Everything / Home Insurance £296.41
    Float £52.31

As I put the car repair bill on my CC, the car budget will not go up for a few months as that is going into paying the CC off. I did put this bill onto an instalment plan as I get a fixed low rate of interest on an already low, to me, rate.
The amount I have in the car fund is enough to pay for MOT, a small repair bill and tax. No insurances due for the rest of 2020.
I paid the last of my other CC instalment plan off today 🤗

    August Savings Target
    August savings target is £500.
Set at this because of my salon appointments and buying a few other things.
I'm still prioritising savings for the remainder of 2020.

    Mortgage
    Mortgage O/P for July £100

By my calculations I have paid just over £380 off the mortgage, between the O/Ps and normal capital repayment part of my monthly payment.

    Pension
    Pension (PB, S&S) £434.06
    Private Pension Payment £10

I'm only doing a token payment into an old pension for this year.
Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.
