    Thank you SYA and SW.

I'm looking forward to the soap arriving as I've been using cheap ones and buying shower gel etc when it's been on special offer. It will be nice to have some that I really like.

I did paint my nails, must get some more nail varnish before the end of summer.

The account has been upgraded, happened after my DDs came out but I've still got two more later in the month so should be ok to make the bit of money from them, will definitely be ok from next month. I will put the free money into my EF and earn interest on it from them too 😁

Been pottering around the garden, fed everything and everyone is happy. Getting baby toms and peppers which is so cute seeing them go from flower to tiny, then growing a little each day.

Popped to the butcher's lunchtime and spent £28, got a free loaf of bread as he won't get it all sold before the BB date, that's in the freezer as it's great for toast.

Moved over £180 to savings this morning 😁

Having a sausage sandwich for tea, not hungry yet as I had noodles for lunch.

Sold a set of curtains today and made £10, bumped all my other adverts so hopefully can sell some more items soon.

Parsnips and carrots are spouting, runner beans are starting to attach to the canes. OH did a bit in his section today and finished the path off.
I need to add some more compost to the rose garden now that's settled (tomorrow's task).
I want to get first coat of paint on lounge unit (weekend task).

Done the pottering / watering, when walking back to the flat I stopped, looked at the building and did the biggest smile ever 😁

Decided to slow my pace a bit with my tasks as I've not got the energy, nor pain stability, to push myself as I'm still recovering from the move and unpacking.

Last night I spent a while looking at alternative routes to work, when it does open up, and can save about £30 a month and it's a lot less walking, which is a good thing as I still can't walk too far at the moment.

Moved some of my commute costs to savings, will do the rest from this week the weekend.

The shower tidy arrived today, looks really good and is a nice height.

    Everything is slowly coming together.

That’s great news. Makes sense to slow the pace now and enjoy everything rather than knacker yourself out trying to rush everything. There are lots of indoor jobs you can do in the winter when the weather is too horrible to get out.

Thanks SYA, I've the whole flat to do, even if it's just painting as I've a lot of white paint to use!

SH, I have to listen to my body, I've seen what happens when I don't. Forced shutdown isn't pleasant 😁

I do love my home, great soundproofing, blank canvas because it's not really had anything done for years and the views are fantastic, as is the garden.

I've a whole new world to explore over here and it was the right choice to move to this side!

Had some gifts from OH, my very own special soap. Wonder if I will get pampered again!
The other soaps haven't arrived yet. Hopefully the start of next week.

It's been raining all day so I only need to water the greenhouse plants later.

OH gave me some money, happened to find it when looking at my account 🤫 anyhow, paid £50 off the mortgage and put the rest into savings.
Altered my EF savings goal as I've met my first one 🤗

Had roast chicken for tea and got ice cream for pudding.

Had a relaxing day today. Had toast for breakfast, then did the washing up followed by a long pampering shower 😁

The soaps arrived, I've always been partial to strawberry and find it refreshing and clean. If it's ok, I will get the full-size bar.

Been working out my finances today, so far over £300 has been paid off the mortgage; that's monthly capital and O/Ps. Under £66k to go 🤗 I'm going to pay £100pm O/P until the end of this year while I save.

Moved a little bit to savings, that's going up quite nicely and quite quickly too, which is reassuring.

I wouldn't normally think about my savings plan for next year at this stage, but am already doing the calculations and hopefully by December will have firm plans for that. The smaller pots will be where I want them to be, freeing up money to be added to the bigger pots in 2021, then 2022 should see me being able to think about long-term savings.

Decided to focus on freshening up one room at a time as that will be easier to plan / do than the way I've been spreading myself thin trying to do bits everywhere.

Didn't qualify for any surveys, contemplated signing up for one that pays cash, but I don't want to put myself under pressure to try and do both lots. The one I do has vouchers for places I buy from.

Had pork chop and veg for tea, chocolate for pudding and now it's feet up and relax again.
