    Thanks SH.
When I new I would be quitting my last job I mentally went through every single job I ever did, picked my likes / dislikes from every single bit of each role and thats how I picked the type of work I want to do. Just have to see what takes my fancy with the adverts 😁

Went into the garden after work and managed 30 minutes before giving up and hiding inside, it was only 23° but unbearable in full sun.
Planted some parsnip seeds, hopefully they will be ready for Christmas dinner.
Forgot to take my nectarine seeds down! Any fruit and veg with seeds from the fresh food shopping, I'm going to try growing them, see what happens 😁
Tomatoes and peppers seem ok, will feed them tomorrow.
I've a bit of space left on the path in front of the secret garden for tubs and the soil edging along the back wall then that's my lot 🤫

Have I said the next door building neighbour (not flat neighbours) has cherry and apple trees? They are in fruit and happen to hang over onto our communal path. I'm eagerly awaiting as they ripen.

Looks like I may be getting a few photos as the sky has some lovely colours forming!

    Have a good evening 😊

Can't take credit for the apples and cherry's, they belong to a neighbour SW 🤫

I kept track of how much money I've saved into savings this month, just under £500!  If I can carry on working at home for a few months, I can keep saving this much, more depending on how much OH donates.
Normally I just update my spreadsheet as I move money to savings so I can see they go up, thought it would be a bit of fun to monitor how much I do put in each.
I'm doing a bit of saving on payday then on 1st of each month the bulk savings, with a bit throughout the month where I don't spend or spend less than I budgeted for.

As the C.tax has been put on a 10 month, not 12 month plan, I will be able to save the spare 2 months each year.

Made the mortgage O/P, that's another bit more of the equity the lender doesn't own 😁 I am keeping an eye on the DD in case they reduce it, then I can make another payment to top it back up to what they should have took. I've read too many people have made O/Ps and not noticed the DD was reduced.

Paid a bit extra off the CC while I wait for the monthly payment to come out, that will be back to 0 next payday. Only been paying £0.46 interest a month so it's been fine.

The garden is too hot to do much in it aside from water and tend to everything, I do need to think of some shelter to sit outside under, but will chat with OH when he is home later.

I'm picking his birthday present up today, it's cost a lot less than I thought it would, so that's a bit more I can add to savings on the 1st.

It is very hot up here at the moment, the flat is like an oven even with the windows open all day / evening and I know the temperature isn't the same as you are having, but it's still making sleeping very hard. I can't have the bedroom window open at night because of being on the main village road.

I also cannot be enthusiastic about being presented with a hot meal each day. Will see if I can find some salad in the local shop.

The weekend I will be finishing the test unit off, that should look so much better when painted white.

Well done on your savings MF that’s a great amount. Lockdown is certainly saving you a fortune 😊

The weather has been unbearably hot 🥵 It’s much cooler here today so I am having a roast 😆 Hope you find some salad. Roll on a few weeks and you will be eating your own 🤗

Thank you SYA, I should be saving over £200 a month just by not commuting, if I don't buy anything for the home / garden.

OHs gift looks fantastic in real life and the woman has done such a good job.

I did get my salad, cheese, picked up various chicken based things, some other bits for meals for the week and nibbles. Spent just over £23.

Tea was chicken wings, breaded chicken steak and chicken strips. Not quite deep fried take-away, but the best I can do 😁

It rained this afternoon, but didn't cool down and the sun is back out. Will water the garden later!
