Happy mid-week early update.
Someone actually replied to my enquiry very quickly last night and I'm the proud owner of an almost new portable massage bed and stool, £60. I'll find a space to store them when not in use and lightweight so easy for me to move from home to car and clients.
- It was an early start to get it today 🤭
I'm now able to offer all my current treatments and when qualified in the booked / planned ones. I can finally place an ad for Def brow models 🤗
Edit to add - my coloured paper has arrived and I can now do a nice price list and posters 😁Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -

Thank you FP and Skinty
I'll be honest and say the weight of them was a concern, whether I'd cope but I'll be ok as shopping is heavier. It's just over 10kg (just over 1.5st) and TomBo tucked it away for me.
I thought it was more economical than a bed and finding a stool as at least these match. I'm chuffed, the bed easily goes in my little car with space for my full beauty kit; I'd even get my nail kit in too.
- I'll strap the stool to the top of my trolley for ease of moving between home, car and visit. In theory it's one trip rather than going back for something.
- just need to buy a couple of covers and some towels, in purple as bed and stool are black and I'm keeping with my 'brand' colours.
My branded mug is on the way, hopefully the rest of my business stuff won't be too far behind. Kind of regret not paying a bit extra for quicker turnaround, however, it's giving me extra days for final touches before the bookings get going.
I'm determined to get my nail kit and all spares organised this week, with my poster template and price list.
- dreadful weather so can't pop to 2nd home.
I'll also practice more waxing (legs and pits 😮) and threading (thighs). If I've time more of my hair colour, face steam, facial and tint lower lashes.
- makes more sense to put the colour on before I do my nails kit as I'd just have to rinse it through after and that's one less thing carrying forward.
TomBo went OTT today, flowers, chocolate, lunch, cake (giant snowball cake) and a truffle thing (coated in choc sprinkled). He kept me topped up with coffee and loads of hugs too.
We had veggie haggis and mash for tea, slice of real bread toast for supper and I'm on T1a Mar1a with milk and ice 🤭Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -

Thank you FP
We are truly grateful to have each other and each day is a blessing.
The head massage manual came. It's from the waist up which has surprised me. I'll probably be able to practice on TomBo 🤭
Got a busy day planned for tomorrow. I'll stick the hair dye on, organise my nail kit, wax and threading practice and see how much time I've got left to design posters and price list of my bio.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -
Had a late start, didn't sleep as cat wasn't feeling too good; possibly a single fur irritation / furball. I grabbed a couple of hours nap when TomBo got up; cat is fine.
After a large coffee I eventually motivated myself. Currently sat with red dye on the bulk of my hair and will rinse it off later. I'll do the underneath and roots of the sides purple tomorrow.
I've organised my nail trolley, just need to combine gels.
To do list for the week:- write draft bio for SM and insurance site (W-end)
- tidy away spares (W-end)
- start workshop learning
- pop to 2nd home
- wax legs, pits and practice threading- do paper pricelist / poster and add to SM
- combine gels (Sat)
- print and file head massage manual (Sat)
I'll try and put all the spares in the bedroom out the way. I've a shelf for liquids in the lounge.
Everything is coming together. Once I've got the lash lift qualification I'll feel better about going live as I'll be able to offer lash tinting, Even though the Def brows qual is hanging over me I can offer the services off the back of my wax and threading qualifications and get models to pass Def brows.
We've kebab from the shop where they add whole pickled chillies as decoration, yum yum.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -

Cat's fine, she got me up today for food and is fast asleep on the sofa.
The chillies are not hot, but taste sooooo nice. As do the different sauces and I like how red cabbage is used in the salad.
Well, my hair is definitely red, darker where I've covered over the purple. I need to plait / pony the now red section for ease of doing the next stage; I'd plaited those to identify what I was doing purple.
- shame I can't stand for long periods as I could add basic cuts with colour to my qualifications.
Had a good exfoliating session while rinsing my hair and I'm ready to do my waxing, when TomBo gets up. I did ask if he wanted anything waxed and boosted his confidence when saying I'm pleased he declined as I adore his manly body hair; I'm not saying blokes without body hair are not men! My OH needed a pick-me-up.
TomBo has just got up, I can start my to do list soon.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1
