Thank you SH, I'll always look for bargains or the best of what I'm after. Can't honestly scrimp on quality for customers as I'll want them to be returners / book me for treats and first impressions count for a lot.
A&U gave us money gift each. I was browsing 3bay today and happened to come across a full lash practice kit, £20 and it should arrive over the holidays.
I popped to my usual supplier site and ordered everything for lash extensions, lifts, more threading cotton and a few other additional / spare items, plus a mystery box for nails and another for lashes, I'm also being sent a mystery free Christmas gift.
- as usual the mystery boxes are for me but with anything I personally wouldn't use being added to my 'business'.
I'll start threading my own brows this week after getting a little practice on my legs, to get the hand coordination sussed.
18 days until my first course 😁
Had a lengthy meeting with boss and covered a lot of things I'm not happy with / experienced since starting and how my health is being affected. Also, got rejected for the other role a few hours later.
We had spicy chicken and carrot soup for tea.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -
Sorry about the other role.
I hope it helped to clear the air.
Glad you have a break and your new courses to look forward to.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Thanks SH and Skinty
There's no changes being put into place, said I can go for counselling, usual fobbing off about not knowing extent of physical health. The shenanigans are still going on. I did wonder about the rejection but couldn't be bothered to analyse or think about it further.
My trolley case is currently on an adventure. It came up and got sent down to a coastal sorting office and is on its way back up 😲
I've got 4 full boxes of kit to go through, sorting into pro kit, spares and mine.
My bank do a free business account for self-emp, which I'll get set up once I go live.
Tomorrow I'll be putting my course notes into a folder, organising my kit, at the salon, pop to the CS on my way back, maybe the butchers, wrapping remaining gifts, practicing nail designs and threading, then food shopping when TomBo finishes work; did volunteer to do shopping in the day but he wants to select the wine.
Don't think I've said, Christmas dinner is going to be T-bone, mashed parsnips, carrots with an onion and garlic jus 🤗
Got my feet up and watching TV.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -
Was up early and tidying before 6.30! All kit was then organised into boxes for ease of checking against what's in my cases, added to them or added to the spares box. Ran out of steam and had a nap.
Got up again, ready and off for my pamper, got lunch for both of us as I know my beauty bestie doesn't get time to eat; gave her gifts and top too which she was so grateful for. Slight change to my hair as I've got purple in the top section and reddish in the rest like an ombre; she gave me red conditioner to use as that will top up what gets washed out. Had a bit of face shaping put in with my trim. My nails are pearlescent (green, gold, orange, purple and other colours).
Went to T, got beef and pork joints, fruit, veg, cheeses, snacks, booze, cat food and other things; trolley was full.
My lash training mannequin has arrived, I can practice lashes sitting on my chair over the holidays, plus nails, nail art and threading.
Tomorrow's plans are pop to the butcher for T-bones, put some kit in cases, put training into folder, get MIL and meet family for lunch, wrap gifts when home and rest!
Got my feet up watching TV.

Thanks Skinty, hair looks great, nail colours are gorgeous; I'll be stripping my nails in 2 weeks and from then on doing them myself.
Didn't sleep and went to bed at 7am for a couple of hours, got ready and went out; lunch was fab. Nipped to A1D1 afterwards for pop and a couple of other bits, got the T-Bone and a rib joint.
All my acrylic related kit is boxed, as is everything for threading, waxing, tinting and lashes. Most of my gel related spares have been put to one side ready for boxing up and tucking away.
Put my gels in the case, looked up and realised I had another box of gels 🤭
Lamp, PPE, liquids, tools etc are in the new trolley case.
Existing case is nearly organised too, that's all the art items eg glitters, transfers, foils, false nails etc.
I've started organising everything for personal use into my little case.
My diary has arrived, just need to add course dates and can book in my models / client's soon.
Tomorrow's plans are put my course manuals into folder, wrap remaining family gifts, get MIL / drop gifts / go for lunch / return MIL, finish organising kit, practice kit and mine, do practice nail designs.

Yesterday was a busy one. Wrapping gifts at 6am, shower, sorting my personal kit, followed by lunch with MIL; Ab3rd33n Ang-s burger with chips for me, followed by apple crumble and ice cream. I drove us back and then had a nap.
Feet were up, watching films and TV, with a cheeky vanilla and coffee T!a Mar!a in milk.
I have written a to do list so I know what I've got to do today and I'm about to make a start!
Can't believe it's Christmas eve already 🎄🎅Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -
