Sorry work is still a struggle (as in bosses).
Nice to have 4 weekly pay.

BD the estate isn't wrapped up. To be mortgage free I'll use earned income and savings.
Thanks SH, there's so much gone on this week, really couldn't make it up. Mates are concerned for my MH and physical health as I'm sharing details of it with them.
TomBo has given me a shopping list and I'll get it done tomorrow as the weather isn't looking too good. I'll buy wrapping paper too and make a start on that task.

If he cooks too - you are really on a winner.
Sorry things aren't going well with resolving your estate. Frustrating for you I'm sure.
Hope things improve at work. When are you off over Xmas?

Work won't be resolved. I approach everything with common sense, above don't listen even when spelt in plain English. I'm only working a few days over the holidays due to closure and non-work days. As I've booked random leave I've only got about 14 actual working days left this year.
- if I won big on the PBs I'd retire and pay the remaining NI each year, with the option of temp jobs as and when.
It's still the same situation with the estate and I'm trying not to let that get to me too; that's going to fund part of early retirement.
I'm not allowed in the kitchen and was shocked he even made suggestions, however, I guess it's because we know everyone else's plans sooner than usual.
I've got 2 pamper sessions left this year, 1st and 24th, latter being everything in readiness for the holiday season.
In true MF style I'm planning where money can be saved and won a UV nail lamp for 99p last night. I'll practice on my toes and when I'm good enough have the option of doing all my nails. I'd revert back to colouring my hair at home. Hair cuts would be less frequent but lash extensions would be done as a pamper treat.
There's still high winds, possibly subsiding by lunch, hopefully I'll be at 2nd home later. I'll do the food shopping this morning.

Will you be able to get the same effect with your hair at home. I can understand saving money on
nails but its a shame to cut back on yourself as you deserve the pampering 😊

Skinty, I'd do a.different version at home,.for ease of maintenance. This is only my back up plan and hopefully won't have to be put into place. As you know I adore my pamper time and can easily afford it on this wage.
Spent most of the day in bed, feeling rough and in a lot of pain, I've nearly finished the book I'm reading.
Got up about an hour ago and did the food shopping. TomBo is currently making carrot soup as I came back with a huge bag of them, he never commented on the huge bag of bananas; both vastly reduced in price.
Hoping the weather is better tomorrow for health reasons and wanting to see / feed the robin at 2nd home, while also doing a bit more clearing.
- I'm determined to have it all ready and useable for spring, which is a big challenge 🤭Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -
Good to have back up plans. I may book a few more days off as I just want to be on 🎄 break already tooAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

If you've got the allowance, book the time off.
I'm going full steam ahead with MF plans and also have a side gig idea forming which could be my income generator for retiring early.
- I've ordered everything I need and will get practising when it all arrives over the next few weeks.
Had another good day at 2nd home, spent a few hours chatting and planning while we sorted both our GHs out. No digging to give my body a break and I had a late nap.
Tomorrow I'll be pottering in the garden and I must start adding my seeds to a spreadsheet so I know what I've got, when to sow etc.
I'll also start wrapping gifts as there's loads here and more on the way 🤭
Tonight we had a lovely kebab, fantastic salad with it and a couple of pickled whole chilli's; our local Chinese had an 1mm1grat1on issue and is closed 😮
Feel are up, watching films and drinking choc milk with vanilla and coffee liqueur in it; absolutely delicious!Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -
What a day, chilled out start, nice mocha and we had a tip run, parking up at A1D1 and my car suddenly cut out, wouldn't restart as the battery was flat! Thankfully the car was very light to push into a space and a shopper quickly boosted us with a jump start pack not much bigger than my phone 😮
Needless to say, TomBo left me in the running car while nipping for a few things from Scr3wF1x and I looked up this magic small booster. TomBo returned and I nipped into the shop for a few bits, in that time he'd ordered the booster and off we headed to get it, doing relay car sitting as each of us decided to take advantage of being on that industrial park. Headed along the mway to get home for higher speed and to blow cobwebs out the car.
- Running all fine again and it's because of the temp drop and local driving.
I've tidied up and organised part of the lounge, can start wrapping gifts and clearing them all from under / round my desk!
My side gig idea, I've found several free courses which I can work my way through while saving for certified qualifications in it. I'm hoping/ expect the bits I've ordered for practicing with arrive by next weekend. I'll be unleashing my creative side 😊Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -
