Nothing will change as it's too ingrained. My meeting went better than others did, with the usual didn't know my health was so bad 🤨 are we really expected to moan every day about it so it sinks in or to remind people?
I'm hoping to do some gardening at home and 2nd home this week.
Looking forward to my lash apt Friday 😃Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -

Spent yesterday at 2nd home, started digging bramble roots out so I can get my herb garden going. It needs a few sessions!
Had my pamper appointment today, nails are subtle glitter and look gorgeous. Got a couple of purple lashes added and my regular black ones have been topped up again.
- Booked and paid for next lash and nail apt in 3 weeks (£65)
- Booked colour, lashes and nail apt for 6 weeks time (£130 + tip to pay) so I'm ready for Xmas.
Picked up a pretty cardigan from the CS and 4 films, £6, on the way home and popped into the butcher, before settling in for what was left of the day; it was freezing outside.
Nothing yet really planned for the weekend.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -

Thank you Skinty, they do look really nice!
Beauty mate passed comments about me liking vibrant hair, with my flick lashes, yet have subtle varnish and thought I'd have my nails done equally as adventurous. I had never thought about it before but don't want to detract from my jewellery and the various colours I tried were so not me.
- As I remembered to ask how soon after lash apt I can wear eyeshadow, I'll be able to practice that as I've watched a lot of YT and found a few concepts I like a lot.
I'm still experimenting with my hair, but may need to move on to using a curling tong or straighteners, if I can remember where I've put them.
I have 3 different perfumes, work, general daily and posh outings, sadly my posh one is no longer sold over here.
I've started organising work outfits, put those on hangers including smalls so I can grab and go. Still need to sort the rest of my wardrobe out.
Backdated rise is going through for next month's pay. I've attempted to figure out what I'll get, but switched off 🤫
Did some more digging at 2nd home yesterday, followed by some work on building neighbours garden. I'll be in the borrowed garden and neighbours garden in a bit, possibly working on Narnia.
- Still need to go through my seeds, add them to a spreadsheet and include sow month.
TomBo gave me an early cake day gift yesterday, a fire pit 🥰 might come in handy today 🤭 as it's Baltic 🥶
I'll start preparing my 2024 budget and savings spreadsheets soon and have them finished over the winter holidays.
Talking of holidays, we've already been told where MIL will be, which means I can plan better as the 'firsts' after being married mean a lot to me.
The mortgage is into £53k band. Monthly O/Ps are £200 and £5 bank rewards (both guaranteed) plus the extra of whatever my 'earned' travel is.

Felt like crying all day, not because of anything in particular, but probably because I'm so tired at the moment. Touch wood, no travel booked so far this week as I've not got the energy to get to my car, let alone drive.
Need to check a few dates before I can attempt to work my backpay out properly, however, rough calculation isn't anywhere near what I originally thought when planning my split between mortgage, savings and pamper. I am now on my highest ever salary though.
My "posh" perfume arrived today, 2ml samples and the guy added a couple more. I've got 28ml for about ¹/3 the cost of a 20ml bottle and perfect for my handbag. I've got about 50ml left in my big bottle.
It was 2 gift sets of work perfume I purchased from Av-n and that also included body lotion. Lotion applied yesterday and I can still smell it today.
Must buy wrapping paper and make a start as I can't face doing it all in one sitting!
Made £19.63 O/P this morning.

Sorry to hear you are feeling so low 😔
I don’t think the weather and dark of winter approaching helps. I’ve often wondered if one of those sad lamps would help. Might be worth looking around for black fri deals.Good news on the salary increase and mortgage o/p. Thanks Skinty
It's been dark up here for a few months and I'm suspecting the cold, my health and work have a lot to do with the circle I'm looping in.
I've not had any proper time off since starting this role, aside from sneaking 4 days for wedding stuff, everything else has been random days here and there and I think it's working FT that's finished me off as there's not really enough 'free' time to do what I want.
- Catch 22 is FT money means the mortgage free day comes quicker 🤭
I cross referenced dates, calculated my backpay and have to do final costing of deductions, however it's looking to be about £700 in my pocket; it's messed up my allocation plans as splitting it 3 ways won't make the impact I was hoping! Need to give serious thought about what to do but swaying towards bulk to O/Ps.
TomBo came home with a few bunches of flowers, there's three vases filled, plus the leftovers from my previous purchase.
We're having chunky chilli and rice for tea 😊

Sorry you've been feeling down. I've been feeling similar.
Good news about the backpay even if it's not quite what you wanted. Great to be on your best ever salary.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
