    Thank you Skinty and SH

I'm now purple and red! The whole thing took 6h, colour removed, washed out, new colours on and washed, cut, blow-dry and curls. It looks absolutely stunning and both myself and the hairdresser are thrilled with how it's turned out 😍
As I don't need my haircut apt next month I had my nails done with that money instead of her refunding me. Hard base to add extra strength to mine, one false tip as I broke a nail this week, they're the same length, with glitter tips to match my hair and I love them 😁

Got my lash infill in a few weeks and she'll look at my nails / roots so we can plan when they need to be redone.

In the short time of having the mortgage about £13k has been paid off between contractual and O/Ps; approx £53,340 is outstanding and I'd like to reach the 10% allowable O/Ps for the remaining fixed term.
Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.

Exciting about the hair do. No wonder it was so costly if it took 6 hours. Would have cost closer to double here for that long. Sounds like you had fun.

  • She estimated 4 hours, I knew it would be about 6 due to when I've stripped colour and recoloured at home. I insisted she kept the difference between cut / blow dry compared to the nail price and also gave a substantial tip to bump the hair process up to what I'd budgeted/ guessed it would be. Also took food and insisted she had coffee breaks etc too. We both had a great time!

    Thank you Skinty,

I've not done anything like this in over 20 years and it's fantastic, I love how the colours work together.  I've been looking at the colours available for the polish she uses and have picked some for daily wear and special occasions, just have to check if she has them, if not buy and take them when having nail pamper. I'll stick to my normal polish for toes.

I have been sending expenses to the mortgage, it's nice seeing my recorded numbers reducing more frequently.

Seems like rises have finally been agreed. I'll split the backpay between O/Ps, savings and pamper. When I calculate the difference between pre and post rise, I'll pay that off the mortgage each month too.

Had an unexpected dry day, spent the morning at 2nd home weeding, sowing onions and tidying up.

What a lovely way to split your pay rise.

Sounds like you and your hairdresser were very happy with the day's outcome.

    Thanks SH
It added a bit of creativity for my hairdresser and let her advertise it's not just natural colours available. I'm planning a small Xmas box for her with a few things she can share with mini me. We have become very good friends in a short space of time.

Thankfully I've a short week, unfortunately I'm already fully booked and will be making expenses. I lodged a complaint against NAB3 and pulled B2 up on a few things, which was taken in good faith and I received apologies. I've my 1to1 this week and will be ripped to shreds by NAB3 as it's been done to everyone else. I'm still doing m-lisc1ous c0mpl1anc3.

Spent a few hours in the garden yesterday, trimming cut down tree branches to build up the paths between sections again. I'll sow garlic and the remaining onions today. I also need to pot up my Tay berry cuttings and add the stickers to our bins.

I'm also hoping to make a start on my building neighbour's rock garden. I had an idea of using the cut down straight branches as a kind of fence / climbing frame for sweet peas as that will provide a lot of colour by his patio.

I've got plants and pots to take to 2nd home. My snap dragon seedlings are ready to transplant into troughs; they'll be placed round the outside of my GH to provide colour. The lavender is still flowering. I may allocate £100 from backpay as I can then buy the paint to jazz up my water barrels and have change for any other bits I want next year; I'd take that from the allocated pamper portion.

  • I am glad you have put in a complaint. Things couldn’t carry on as they were. Hope your 121 goes well. Great use of backpay as your garden brings you such joy
