  • I've found my spare nose studs, put them in the jewellery box and ordered a couple of fancy ones. Ordered some original art nouveau items and clocks for the lounge (handmade) with a miniature g.father for my desk.

I'm plugging away at work, getting moaned at daily by not-a-boss3, who is actually showing themselves up. Not great for morale when vastly understaffed and all overworked at the mo. Thankfully a trip has been postponed, I'll miss the expenses as it was 3h round drive.

Waiting the outcome of my course.

I am tidying/ organising a little bit each day, taking random naps where I can and also taking it easy. Hopefully the weather will improve later this week as I want to potter about and do gardening at home and 2nd home.

Good luck with your course results

    Thank you Skinty

I spent all day Friday at 2nd home, preparing my onion bed, got half the fence up, had a clear out.

Saturday morning did more work on the onion bed, went to McD for lunch and visited A&U.

Yesterday we were in the garden. TomBo was sorting my beds and made some of the paths a bit wider for ease of me getting around. I was potting up straying strawbs, wedding and pottering. We heard next door (next building along) working on their garden, went through Narnia and spent a few hours helping; went through to second Narnia and we'll be clearing that and borrowing it for however long 😊
    - had garden envy as both parts are what I'd love, but doubt permission would be granted to convert from flats to a house or big upper flat.

I've purchased art deco S0w3rby glass and Bagl3y glass, when it arrives I'll donate my existing vases to CS. Also ordered a couple of 1930s hats, hat pins and a couple of other bits of art deco jewellery. Miniature clocks and a T1ffany style desk lamp, plus TomBo's Xmas gifts.

I'm still pottering about the flat, organising and adding to the CS bag.

I've moved money to savings and thought the expenses and monthly bank payment can get paid off the mortgage to help reduce that further 😊

I also passed my course, very strong feedback with my answers and just waiting on the official certificate 😁

  • The new art deco glass sounds intriguing.
Congratulations on the pass and good feedback.
Reading back, work sounds a pain but you are balancing it with the allotment and gardening and still sound happy  :)

    Thank you DIA

Work is frustrating with micromanaging and other things. I'm trying to stay positive, thinking how expenses will help pay down the mortgage quicker, but I'm not recovering from the trips or the mental energy taken up by the work when I get to my destination and all the follow up when I'm back home.

It's a few vases, with 'frogs' to keep the flowers in position, glass inserts with holes for the stems, and I did smile and think of you each time I purchased them.
I've got amber, green and red, different heights for various flowers I'll be growing.
A pink vase I'll add sponge and create a hat pin stand as I wasn't overly keen on the ones for sale.

Forgot to say, I've ordered some bits for 2nd home, which should make my life easier. That'll arrive this week.

If I didn't have my garden and 2nd home, with prettying up my building neighbour's garden and being able to cut and burn things for the next door garden, I'd have lost the plot again by now!

    Thanks Skinty and SH

I feel the right balance will be working somewhere else as it's daily, multiple times, contradicting what I've been told by previous NABs. I've saved 'evidence' of the latest thing to show why I'm doing it as no doubt will get pulled up for doing what I was told. As a result I've taken to m-lisc1ous c0mpl1anc3, which is fun on the one hand but has slowed me down; I'm creating templates as I go. I'm out and about the remainder of my week, so hopefully can avoid NAB3 as I ended up having a p-nic att yesterday.

My garden / 2nd home delivery arrived yesterday and hopefully I'll get the heavy parts down this week, while also getting onions and garlic in.

Hopefully my art deco stuff will arrive this week, I'll organise a bit more of the flat, sort a few things out for the CS bag too.

Really sorry to hear this MF 😞 I wish I could say something profound or wise to help but I hope things are better today. It’s no way to live & I hope you can find something else soon x

Sorry NAB3 is contributing to an anxiety flare. Are there any things you can do that would relieve the stress?
