I've not decided what overall weight I want to be SH. For the moment I need to stay around 11st 5lbs otherwise it's more expense to try and get my dress taken in; I've already got a few types of chicken fillets to help as it's strapless!

The allotment is wonderful. I popped down for lunch and started cutting weeds down to near ground height with shears; a full body workout as I took the remains to my dry out and burn or bin pile.

I'm hoping to get the fence finished this week and then I'll be maintaining the plot, potting up toms, watering etc until I go full on again in July.

I've knuckled down with my work course this evening and am taking the next assessment first thing. I'll see if I can complete more of the final exam too. It means most of June is just work and me / us time 😊
    - I'll pick it up the end of June, start of July.

I've treated myself to exfoliating gloves, b00ts and very cheap, they're great. For years I always doubted their efficiency however I've totally changed my opinion and almost have 'normal' skin all over after just a few days. They'll be a big part of my pamper routine now. I'm also sticking with v33t instead of shaving my legs.

Tomorrow will be a bit busy - course, work, allotment, wrap gifts, mini me party, A1D1 for compost, late evening feet up watching TV.

TomBo made a lovely gentle Chinese chickpea and veg curry with rice for tea, I've leftovers for lunch 😄

    Your tea sounds interesting.

Exfoliating gloves give a great result.

All sounding great in the allotment  :)

    Thanks DIA

It was our usual curry paste, with more water than usual. Chickpeas, onion, peppers, carrots, courgette and aubergine.

My skin seems to be producing natural oil to self-moisturise, I'll keep up with my beauty regime and pampers as they're proper 'me' time.

I passed the unit and will start the next one later this month,. I still need to check if there's any more questions I can complete for the final assessment and will check next week.

Spent nearly 5 hours at the plot. I'm carefully pulling out weeds, cutting brambles and other things down to ground level. All done with secateurs to avoid damaging the strawberries; I'll be transplanting them later in the year.

A1D1 had no compost so I'll have to pop to a nursery tomorrow as the toms do need to be potted up.

Enjoyed the party this evening and the gifts went down very well with mini me. The rest of the family were impressed with the thought behind them 😊

I'm resting with my feet up.

Got up early today and TomBo tried to send me back to bed 😮 I got ready, sorted everything I was taking with me for the day and headed off to T for compost. Grabbed 4 bags, a tool storage for 2nd home and it will double up as a table, got 2 pairs of jeans and 3 pairs of cute socks in the sale, and picked up a meal deal.

Headed straight to 2nd home, unloaded the pots and things I'd taken, just as I got the 4th bag of compost out the car one of the lads arrived 🙈  had a good catch up, ate my MD for breakfast, then drilled all my pots and transplanted all my toms. Rearranged the greenhouse to accommodate all the pots.  A neighbour passed his hose over to the plot and a few of us filled our barrels; we all took it in turns to walk water down to mine.

I took a stroll home lunchtime (no parking available in my usual part) as I needed more liquids, had a quick catch-up with TomBo and sat for a bit to cool down. Headed back and trimmed brambles, couch grass, pulled up what I could and have revealed my strawbs and rhubarb in that section. I did some of the patio area too and will finish that tomorrow so I can get my tool table made and put to use.

Tanned my legs and arms a bit more today.  I'll have shorts and sock lines on my legs, with t-shirt and glove lines on my arms. My back has tanned, but I've bra and vest lines; as we're in town tomorrow I'll put a strapless top on and little shoes to get the colour match underway.

Returned home and got parked, had a walk round the garden and had a cool shower; so much easier using the exfoliating gloves.

I'll get a financial update done the weekend.

We had chippy night and I've got my feet up 😊

    Thanks SH and Skinty

I absolutely love the allotment. It's a lot of work and time I'm putting in, but will pay dividends when I've finished and have a blank slate.

I've got my spuds down the plot in makeshift containers; part experiment and part got to get them planted.

I'm currently cutting all the weeds down to ground level and had a long burn bin session today. I also started organising the section I've been digging / clearing and need to finish it tomorrow so I can plant sweetcorn.

I'm gathering up abandoned slabs, buying large barrels for water storage and also distributing surplus plants from the garden to plot mates. I'm enjoying having daily natters.

My t-shirt / glove tan is coming along, also got sock tan. I've 2 weeks to get the pale parts matching. Still have to practice makeup and will have a go at foundation and bronzer this week; lipstick, eyeshadow, blusher etc is straight forward. Nail varnish I did when the colours arrived.

With my weight some oz go up and down, I'm still within 11st 5lb and can begin losing more again soon.

Life will ease up in a few weeks and I'll be keeping up with diaries better than I have been of late.

Thanks SH, it's a great outlet and has the right amount of challenges, in moderation, with satisfaction as I slowly work away clearing bits.

So far I've gathered all the available rocks and they in the space I cleared, just need to put them into position. I've cleared another path, more cobblestone style, which is very pretty. I'm slowing down for a week, gentle pottering about, weeding, watering and eating strawberries.

I've tried my dress on and it fits perfectly. I've got pads for my shoes to ensure I'll be pain free in heels.

Still haven't practiced makeup. I popped into my usual salon to see about having false lashes fitted and they were so rude.

I popped to another and the girl didn't have a clue what I was on about, however the resident makeup artist handed some over to the girl and also said she easily does the look I want. Ended up having a short consultation when she finished work, 90 mins later and I've booked her to do makeup, match my white bits to my tan and my hair; she's even putting extra hair in for added umph. All for under £100 and she's coming here to do it 😊
    - I've been following this artist all year, love her style and thought she'd be way above what I'd spend. TomBo's happy I'm getting everything done and not having to do it all myself.

TomBo asked me to get cab quotes, that's booked and paid for. Saves depleting my energy / walking ability.

We're not booking a restaurant and will decide what where we want to eat / what type of food on the day.

I can focus on dyeing hair, brows, lashes and hair removal and my stress level is near zero 😁
    - I'm also on annual leave 😄😄
