    Thanks Skinty, DIA and SH

Cat is totally fine, making up for all the food she hasn't eaten and back to having TomBo wrapped around her little paw 🐾

My second pair of wellies arrived yesterday. More DM / walking boot style, clear with glitter and are much more suited for serious garden work. These will be my go to pair for 2nd home and the first pair I'll keep for the garden.
One of my fellow 2nd homers gave me a pot of toms. I've got to get them transplanted and organised in the greenhouse.
I've started moving water down and it will take quite a few trips to fill my barrel.
I've sowed nasturtiums and carnation seeds and they appear to be producing seedlings.
I've taken garden waste bins and filled with spreading weeds as the council have better productions to kill and compost them.

I've found an easier way to clear the section. I'm still having to dig only what I'm doing is putting the soil and whatever is in the lump into a makeshift riddle. Shake it about and everything separates. I've a bucket for weeds, another for pebbles, the stones / glass / rubbish I throw onto the path.
    - I won't get it finished tomorrow, but now confident it should be done by the end of this month.

Today I tackled the nettles on the opposite space, only a bit more to as the roots were mainly just under the surface and it would all come up like carpet. I can dig that section over in July but getting an idea of the structure of that side.
    - I've a bucket of nettle tea brewing by the compost.

I picked up 3 fruit bush roots / stems in the p0undsh0p, 2 raspberry and 1 blackcurrant, spent £7.50 which I thought was good.
    - I may put them in pots for now to ease the digging pressure.

I'm having a fantastic time listening to the birds singing away each day, hearing their excitement as I approach the plots and topping up their feeder. They've very good eyesight and tell me to move when I've dug so they can get fresh bugs, or pop down when I have a break. Some of the bugs are bigger than at home and there's others I've never seen before. On top of that I'm having a daily natter with my fellow plot holders and they're keeping a look out for a couple of things I can use.

I've reduced my calories as a I was burning them off before I'd eaten most days. Now it's a coffee, banana or smoothie, couscous salad and my usual evening meals / fruit. I don't think it's quite enough so while over the butcher I got a couple of sausages, a pork and apple burger and eggs, which I'll cook up tomorrow and bulk out my salad a bit.

As for my tan. I'm wearing gloves and a t-shirt most of the time so you can imagine how my arms are tanning 🤭 I'll put a thin jacket on if it's really sunny and as standard I wear my hat. I'll carefully sort the tan out over the next month.

Perhaps I should go back to daily updates as this is a lot without even talking about other bits and pieces 🙈

Thanks FP, my raspberries at home seem to be behaving and not sending runners out. Not sure I could face that again in the 2nd home after all the work I'll be putting in 🙈

Had a chilled out day and went shopping. Picked up pack of 5 gloves for £3 in H0m3bas3. A1D1 for fruit, veg, other bits and a bag of compost.

Went for a nap and when I got up TomBo was batch cooking and baking brownies.

Tomorrow I'll be potting up toms and sowing more sweetcorn. This week I want to get some other seeds in the garden and do some more clearing / digging down my 2nd home. We've a day trip planned later in the week. As usual it's all slotted round my working hours.

We had bolognese and couscous for tea, brownies for pudding and fruit for snacks.

    Thanks SH

The weather is glorious and I've not spent so much time outside since buying this flat as I have done since getting the plot!

I'm still digging and clearing the section, making steady progress every day.

I did pot up some of the toms, sowed more sweetcorn and need another bag of compost to finish potting up the tom seedlings.

Forgot to say in my last update. I used v33t on my lower legs and very impressed with the results. I could still go bare legged in a knee length skirt today 😊

We'll be going to D-dee Friday, calling in at the nice oldly-worldly tea/coffee place and stocking up. I'll pop into B-Sh0p and spend my points voucher. On the way back we'll pop into a garden centre and divert to our usual ice cream deli as it's officially ice cream season 😄

    Thank you Skinty and SH

We had a great time. I popped in to a giant CS, found a summer dress, coloured jeans, shorts and had arms full of DVDs when TomBo had magically appeared after he had been to his planned shops. I did the food shopping and we filled up before leaving T as it was £1.39L, 5p cheaper than by us.

Heading home we grabbed ice cream and a few other bits from the deli.

I've been going to my 2nd home 2 - 3x a day, depends if I pop home for lunch or it gets too hot. Today for my break I just went and sat down to add a bit more to my tan, I did some weeding after work.

I would like to finish getting the fence refitted and finish uncovering a path of rock by the end of this week. For most of June I'll be pottering about, general weeding and sunbathing, nothing too tasking as I can't risk breaking nails.

I started looking into how to tone my arms up a bit and happened to be chatting with one of the plot lads. He said to be careful bringing the water down unless I want to look like Arni S. I'd never even given it a moment's thought before and it has helped; just need to remember not to do a muscleman pose 🙈

With regards to my tan, I thought it was coming along nicely until I just saw TomBo's 🤭 I've started tanning my legs and will be wearing strapless tops / dresses to ensure an even colour. F50 is used at all times and only short bursts of actual sit down and do nothing, when pottering I'll be more covered up.
    - still need to practice makeup application.

I was bored today, stuck doing one thing pretty much all day, I've been ramming food down my neck. My weight is pretty much stable at the moment and I just need to keep it the same for a little while longer, then I can begin phase 2 of the weightloss; same as before, but without the worry of events and outfits 😄
