    Thanks SW

Yesterday I finally planted the sweetcorn and TomBo has started clearing another section. It took me weeks to do half of what he did in a few hours, and he'll finish it this week; only cost me a couple of steak bakes ☺️

Today we picked up slabs and timber for 2nd home. I've just popped down to water the toms, everything outside has natural rain.

Also did the shopping first thing and we're home just after 10am. I needed a nap lunchtime and felt refreshed enough after 90 mins to get up again.

TomBo did all the housework and cooked, but has now decided we're having chippy night. I'll have the rest of the reception food for lunches. Hopefully we'll have cake or at the very least ice cream, preferably both 🤭
    - still haven't opened the bottle of red I got us, maybe next weekend.

I've still been logging food / exercise and can carry on my weightloss now.

Great that you were able to do such a MSE wedding. Much more creative and individual than buying it off the peg.
Carry on enjoying your post wedding treats.

    Thank you DIA

As you know, I'm not the kind of person to spend loads as the money can be put to better use elsewhere, I also like a good bargain!

I splashed my dress while having lunch and ended up getting the bottom dirty on a wet path, both times I shrugged and thought 'oh well'. As it is, the dress can go in a normal wash.

I've not yet done the 'if I would have had everything brand new this is what it would have cost' calculation. While some items are easy to find the current equivalent, others are not so easy eg my wedding ring.
    - Due to buying nearly everything off 3bay I've also earned n3ctar points 🤗

Just make sure you get enough breaks and movement in if you are doing compressed hours.

Be kind to yourself. The money sounds really welcome - and it will boost your pension too.
