June financial round up, slightly different as I didn't put one up in May:

    Savings are now £10,126
Study / holding account balance £20
Pamper balance £89, paid lash fitting
    Car everything balance £765

    O/S mortgage £54,823 ish
    O/S CC £1220 (TomBo's bike), it'll be cleared in a few months.

Pretty impressed with the numbers considering we've had a wedding to pay for over the last few months; I also wanted us to have a min of £10k in the bank before we married too 🤭

I'll have one more payday on my current salary and August will be FT pay.
Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.

    Thank you DIA and SH

We popped to the local nursery while out Sunday. I picked up 2 lavender and 6 herbs for 2nd home, 2 lavender and 3 packets of reduced price bulbs for the garden.

Our usual CS closed without warning, so we've picked another and dropped some stuff off. I'll go through my surplus wedding items and sell or donate those.
    - TomBo washed my 'wedding' dress and that has come up as new, just need a party or something to wear it to again 🤗

Weather is hit and miss. I rush to 2nd home and have lunch in the greenhouse and deal with a bit of weeding and watering after. In the evenings it's weeding and watering if the afternoon was a hot one. Hopefully it will pick up in a few days as I've loads I want to get done including sowing root veg seeds.

I've got toms forming on some of my plants. I can start harvesting onions as and when needed. I have harvested one elephant garlic and could just about fit it in my hand. We also have lettuce.

Work is manic as we've barely anyone in, those of us who are are doing the work of two others with our own on top. I also need to start the next part of my course.

I've managed to get an MOT booked in for this week as it runs out next week.

My insurance renewal appeared today.  I've got so used to paying under £200 it was a shock getting quoted double that, even on comparison sites. I added a £500 voluntary excess just to get the cost down to under £300 for the year 😳
    - I'll start squirrelling away extra money into the car pot to build up the £500.

I had bacons and haggis rolls, TomBo had bacons and b.pud rolls for tea.

Lavender and herbs sound great. That’s the sort of plants I would like in my garden once we’ve killed all the weeds. 😆

Sorry to hear about the car insurance hike. Mines not due until December so I will have to check there will be enough in the annual bills pot to cover double the last premium 😕

    0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗
House sale OCT 2022 = NOW MORTGAGE FREE 🤗
House purchase completed FEB 2023 🥳🍾 Left work. 🤗

Retired at 55 & now living off the equity £10k a year (until pensions start at 60 & 67).

    Thanks Skinty and SH

I've felt the insurance increase due to how low my premium was. My sibling had theirs go up by about £100 too, however they pay about £1400.

I planted the lavenders at 2nd home lunchtime, did weeding and watering after work.

As a nice treat I'm having homegrown diced strawbs in lemonade 🤭 Had freshly picked raspberries lunchtime.

My teammates gave me a wedding voucher and I've placed an order for Mexican food goodies. Just have to decide what to buy with the rest of it; restricted to AmZn.

We had chicken in a spicy tomato sauce with rice, I'm having brownies with ice cream for pudding 😊

MOT was fine, cost £60 and some biscuits which the lads started claiming as I put them on the counter 🤭
    - what's left in the car everything pot is a good start towards the £500 vol excess and I've no car related things or home ins to pay for 9m.

I've updated 3 banks with my new name and requested the form for the 4th.
    - Two were simple, take a copy of the cert asked if it's title and surname being changed, insert card, do P1N, sign here and that's done. They're updated already!
    - V took ages and it's the first time I've honestly thought of moving away from them due to service.

I've messaged SIPP, 2 pensions and mortgage co asking how I change my details. I have to print, complete and return a form for another pension. I'll do some over things over the weekend eg online shops, send my log book and licence off as I've got stamps. That will leave working through loyalty schemes to do.

I popped to B-Sh0p as I had a voucher and got a moisturising lip tint, the voucher expired last week 🙈

My AmZn delivery should arrive tomorrow, still don't know what else to get.

We had refried beans with nacho's for tea, I had a snowball for pud.

Thanks SH, it's been 2 weeks already 😀

It's not making it feel any more real as I have a 50/50 ratio at work of old/new name. I've changed as much as I can since my other post. Some want phone calls to change my details, others will want the cert. Maybe when the confirmation letters arrive things will be more real, however, I doubt it.

Had to stop myself swapping my current photo for wedding photo, and updating my usual wording, on a messaging service to avoid SIL finding out that way 😕

We're seeing MIL later this month. My wedding ring is on the correct finger and engagement on the other hand; it's a very obvious ring and can't be missed that it's on the 'wrong' hand.....

I'm hoping it's a fairly dry day tomorrow so I can get seeds sown at 2nd home and do a bit of weeding. I've also got my lash fitting in the afternoon.
