Nearly everything is updated, just waiting on a couple of replies to ask for the cert. Have to sort out licence and log book.
Took up a load of mint from by the GH and potted it up, also did some weeding, watered toms and had a general potter about. Scarily, I had two falls, both times ending up in nettles but I'm ok.
Had lunch with TomBo 😄
Attended my lash appointment. All the other customers were nattering away to me, I guess that's village life. Took nearly 2 hours as it's individual lashes and they look great. I'm booked to have in-fills done (stick replacement lashes on new ones which have grown), paid the £40 from my pamper budget and the girl said they're so me 🤭 I put tinted lip balm on when home and it completed my look.
We had soup for tea, I've got brownies and ice cream for pudding 😋Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -
I assume you are wanting to surprise family in person then?

It's TomBo's side who don't and I feel the longer it's kept from them the worse they will take it as he frequently speaks with them!
The pampering was great SH, I'm contemplating booking a haircut with the lash girl, but what I'd like done is hard for me to recreate. The good thing is she fully understands my health so could possibly come up with something I could do.
I accidentally took a lash off this morning when I woke up, was going to see if I could put it back on assuming the glue was still tacky. Looked to find the lash it had come off, decided to gently nudge the one next to it instead and that sorted it out 🤭 the first 48h is when glue is setting properly and I have to be very careful.
I tried a different hairstyle today, added extra hair and I was happy with it. Also raided my makeup, first attempt at foundation went badly wrong so I washed it all off and started again. Hint of blusher, lipstick and I was very pleased.
We popped to A1D1, got treats for all three of us, veg, yoghurt, gnocchi, cupboard supplies, two different ciders for me etc and spent £45.
I've just spent the last of the wedding gift voucher from work, got us a funny t-shirt each so we've both got a keepsake; I got mex food with most of it.
We had chippy night, feet are up and watching TV.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3 -
Sounds like a lovely day. Well done with the hair and makeup. I’m useless at applying mascara, I presume you don’t need any with the fake lashes?0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Thanks Skinty
No mascara can be worn with lash extensions as it could mess up the glue and attempting to remove it would take some of the extensions off too. It does look like I've got mascara on as the lashes are black and slightly thicker than normal; there are loads of different sizes, thicknesses and lengths for the salons to select the right ones for customers wants.
- Each time I look in the mirror I smile 😊
TomBo was given a large suitcase type case, with foam inserts, by our neighbour. I'll be transferring all my makeup, nail varnish, brushes etc to it this week and my small original one will be relegated as a jewellery box.
I'm still slowly chipping away at 2nd home, mainly weeding, watering and maintaining as I don't want to overdo it. I'd like to get the second section finished off and get veg growing ready for winter harvesting. I'm also weeding the garden.
We've a long weekend as there's some form of local holiday Monday. I'm currently unofficially getting used to my new longer hours ready for when they start; I randomly nod off in the evenings some days 🤭
I'm only up very early today as cat came to bed last night. I was sandwiched between her and TomBo, each time I moved a fraction she woke and wanted fuss.
- I also have an exam to do for my course, which I'd better get on with! Only two more modules to do after, with the final exam, and it's done.

Passed the exam, am partway through my next module and I started work early today. I took extra breaks and finished a bit earlier to claim time back. Went straight to bed, got up at 6.30 and looking forward to going back to bed in a bit 🤭
I did some weeding lunchtime. It's debatable weather tomorrow afternoon and may scupper plans to do more gentle weeding.
- I'll organise my new makeup case if I stay in.
Had my first replacement card arrive, I giggled seeing my name on it 😊

Much needed long weekend is here!
I decided to pop to my lash girl and ask about hair colour, cut and blow dry, tagged it on to my lash in-fill apt this month. I may need my current colour carefully stripped out, due to the make I use, before the proper vibrant red is applied.
I've ordered lash shampoo and brushes so I can carefully maintain them. While they're not too expensive I'd like to get in-fills done monthly rather than 3 weekly if I can; £40 a visit.
Due to these substantial pamper plans, I've upped my budget to £150 for this month and will reduce it to £100pm for August and beyond letting the unspent money build up for less frequent treatments. I'll be adding bank reward money and travel expenses to the pot too.
- I'll have monthly lash in-fills and colour, 3-monthly trims, threading elsewhere and my v33t costs; I'll buy brow dye once a year if not every 2 years as I only use a tiny bit.
I've had two naps this afternoon 🤭
Tomorrow's plans are spend the morning at 2nd home, do more weeding. Lunch I'll be home organising my makeup and jewellery cases. Afternoon is time with TomBo but I'm not sure what plans he has.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -

Thank you SH and Skinty
I do feel guilty having a large pamper budget for this payday, however I may as well have some fun before I tone it down in the future.
We're both fully settled, reached the goals I set for us and it's a comfortable life we have. Now it's time to enjoy it.
It rained heavily overnight and I managed to get about 45L of water, from various spots at 2nd home, and tip it into my barrel. Weeded round my corn and added mulch. Weeded a few other areas and got the weeds, brambles and nettles out from my rhubarb. Watered the toms before returning home.
I've mastered cleaning my eyelashes and use the same shampoo on my lids / upper eyes. I probably won't need to buy any more for a few years as I got 4 bottles, several brushes and got sent mascara type wands and other bits free, plus had a discount code.
- I've started organising my shelves in the bathroom and so far my teddy bear eyelash fan has not been noticed 🤭
Yesterday I organised all my makeup into my new case. I've got a makeup bag which has a couple of different balms in for using at home, a couple of lip glosses for when I'm going round the village and primer, foundation, blush, lip liner and lipstick for when we're going out for the day. It also has my current nail varnishes.
TomBo did the shopping and came home with flowers for me. I've a vase full and in a champagne type glass put the very short stemmed flowers; the glass is on the table next to me.
We had a chill out at home afternoon, not sure if we're up to the next couple of days as it's supposed to rain in the day.
We had bacon rolls for tea.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.4
