I had a doze this afternoon and when TomBo finished work we went to the shops, I went to 8&m while TomBo did PaH and H-f0rds as he wanted a few bike related things.  After we went to T, got the usual fruit, veg, milk and other staple items. Filled the car up too, which we only do once a month now 😃

The allotment will be for things that don't require daily care and attention, but a few visits a week for weeding and watering.  I didn't walk down this afternoon, but will over the next few days.

The pearl seller made me some gorgeous earrings, they'll arrive over the next few days. She'll be making me a bracelet when her next delivery of pearls arrive. That will be my outfit and accessories all sorted out.

I'm collecting my dress tomorrow and then it will get packed away for a few months.

I do need to practice hair, planning a bun and have a 'tool' to create it. Must try makeup ideas and watch a few more YT videos; I'm aiming for natural enhanced, but know most 'effort' goes into creating flawless foundation. Of course I could pay people to do both for me, but I'm not willing to pay what they ask!

We had soup for tea, mine was vegan chickpea, aubergine and tomato. Fruit for pudding.

Thanks Skinty it's from T. Has some nice spice to it and probably best described as a vegan mulligatawny but without the rice. It's what I'm usually having for soup night.

Managed to get some sleep at 4am and collected my dress this morning. She's done an absolutely amazing job and I doubt anyone would know it's been altered to what I wanted. Fits perfectly and she told me not to lose anymore weight!
    - it's hard as I was aiming to be about 10st 8lbs to 10st 13lbs when it's time to wear it 😕

My pearl earrings arrived, as gorgeous as the necklace, and she slipped me a bracelet in for free which is equally as beautiful 😍

Weather is a little chilly and there's occasionally rain. I'll treat it as a rest day and maybe watch a film or catch up on sleep after we've had lunch; I'm having a ham salad roll.

Tea is bacon rolls and I'll have fruit for pudding.

Always lovely to get a refund.

Great news on continuing to slim down.

Fab news on the allotment. So pleased for you.

    Thanks SH

I did have a dilemma after getting my dress as I didn't want to lose momentum, but at the same time want to wear this dress. I've hatched a plan of how I can carry on losing weight, while not worrying about having a mishap with the top of the dress. Best thing is I already own a few options 🤭

I found a gorgeous mother of pearl ring on 3bay, it arrived today and I'm not disappointed.

Lunchtime I had a pamper and shower. This afternoon I've been out in the gardens, did a bit of weeding and enjoyed the sun on my face.  My greens are doing well, as are onions and garlic. I'll have to look up when to sow beans, peas and other bits.

No allotment letter yet, getting impatient as I want to see which is mine and make a start on prep. I'll be growing spuds, carrots, parsnips, turnips and some herbs; haven't decided what else yet but onions and garlic will go down over winter.
    - fingers crossed it's not a jungle when I get it.

We had chicken wraps for tea, I'll have fruit throughout the evening 😊

    March financial round up:

Saved £422 in savings, now £9121
    Study balance £150
    Misc balance is £136
    Car everything balance £945

    O/S mortgage £55,898 (statement came)

Across all the accounts £800 was put away, some got spent eg relating to the event etc.

April plans are save what I can. I'm contemplating increasing the mortgage O/P to cover the interest payment, pay allotment fees whatever they are and do a home insurance quote as the renewal is up £25.

Thank you DIA, it was nice getting out and pottering, shows the nicer weather is coming.

Doing quite well with the weightloss. I'm allowing an extra couple of hundred cals a few times per week to make sure I don't drop too much before the event.

There's a huge project at work, unfortunately lots of repetitive mouse work and I'm feeling it today; there's no way of altering what's being done.

Got my feet up and resting. We're having bacon roll for tea 🤭
